L X Reader

You skipped excitedly as you entered the colourful candy store. Fluorescent colours and large arrays of candy overwhelmed your senses as you squealed in pure delight at the heavenly sight. Your mouth watered hungrily at the colourful candy. "Holy moly there's so much fricken candy!" You squealed as you rushed to the candy bar. Immediately you began frantically shovelling scoopfuls of candy into bags, other people in the store either backed away slowly or chuckled at your childish behaviour.

"I think that's enough," you grunted as you struggled to carry the many bags of candy in your arms. You stumbled around blindly as you made your way to the counter, the bags of candy were tall and heavy which made it both hard to see and hard to carry.

"Whoa!" You shouted as you tripped. It felt like everything was in slow motion as the bags fell from your arms. But before you fell to the ground strong arms grabbed ahold of your arm and pulled you up. "Are you okay miss?" A monotone voice asked as you were pulled upright. "Y-yeah thank you," you thanked as you brushed yourself off. "Oh no! My lollies," you pouted as you saw the rainbow piles of your spilt candy. "Such a shame you dropped all that candy, I can replace them for you if you like?" The man offered as you lifted your head to see your saviour.

The man had an extremely pale complexion, dark eye bags that contrasted against his pale skin, a blank expression and slouched posture. This guy's really unique but also really cute, you thought as you smiled brightly at him. "Thank you, thank you!" You squeaked as you wrapped your arms around him in a friendly gesture. L's eyes widened at the unfamiliar contact, he'd never been hugged like this before. He felt an odd feeling, like there was a bomb ticking in his chest and a tornado of butterflies flying around in his stomach. Hesitantly L hugged you back, as he hugged you he smelt the addictive sweet scent of strawberries and vanilla.

You pulled away and introduced yourself, "Hi there! My names Y/n, thank you so much for saving me!"

"May I know my saviour's name?" You giggled as you extended your hand to shake his outstretched one. "No worries Y/n, my name is Ryuzaki, pleasure to meet you," he replied as he shook your hand.

You made small talk with him as you grabbed a couple of bags and scooped a variety of lollies in them, you laughed loudly at stories of Ryukazi's experiences. "I've got such a bad addiction to candy," you said as you idly stuffed marshmallows in the bag you held. "Oh really? I bet it's not as bad as mine," Ryuzaki replied as he carefully scooped skittles into his bag.

"For breakfast I had an ice cream sandwich with pop tarts. Inside there was vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup on top, sprinkles, sour straps, m&ms and chocolate flakes. Then on top whipped cream topped off with more sprinkles!" You said quickly, "I'm a dentist's worst nightmare," Ryuzaki's eyes widened as he chuckled, "Wow that is pretty bad, I had a whole strawberry cake with a side of about five strawberry lollipops, tea with nine spoonfuls of sugar, ten chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate bar."

"Ahaha I'm glad to know someone who doesn't judge me for my 'unusual' diet and someone I share a lot of common interests in," you smiled as the two of you made your way to the counter. "Me too, I'm glad I met you today Y/n," he said as he payed for the candy. You smiled bashfully at his words, "T-thanks, I'm glad I met you too."

The two of you walked out the door, "I guess this is when we say goodbye," You sighed as you turned to the pale man. "Yeah... I suppose so," he replied sadly. You dug through your pockets and fished out your phone from your jean pocket. "Let's exchange numbers so we can stay in touch?" Ryukazi mimicked your actions and nodded in agreement. You exchanged numbers and gave each other silly contact names, Ryuzaki saved your name as ' 🍭Candy Queen 🍭' and you saved his as ' 🐼 Panda Eyes 🐼 '.

"Thank you again Ryuzaki, I hope to see you again," you said as you waved goodbye, "Goodbye Y/n, I hope we'll meet again soon!" He yelled back as he waved to your retreating form.
