With a large pile of files stacked in your arms you unsteadily made your way towards the centre of headquarters, the pile swaying dangerously due to its tall height. The weight of the pile hurt your arms, but you were determined to make it to your destination.

Today was your second day of being an assistant at the police task force, the first day went rather well but today hasn't been as great. The tall pile of files and papers were heavy and was difficult to manoeuvre around corners and people. 'Goddammit this was harder than I thought.'

'Almost there,' you huffed as you turned around the next corner but before you knew it you roughly bumped into someone which sent papers and files flying everywhere. "Sh*t! I'm so sorry," you curse as you scurry to pick up the fallen documents. "It's quite alright," a monotone voice replies as you pick up a few of the papers. You looked up and was met with chocolate brown eyes with dark circles underneath them, you jumped back in surprise. "Excuse my c-clumsiness L... I-I mean Ryuzaki," you stutter, frantically bowing four or five times.

A small smile appears on his face, "As I said, it's quite alright," Ryuzaki picks up some papers and hands them to you, he gathers the remaining that is left on the floor and holds them.  "Here, let me assist," you were about to shake your head in disapproval but decided against it. "Thank you so much," you gush, a pink hue upon your cheeks.

"May I ask of your name?" Ryukzaki asks as you two walked, "How rude of me I forgot to introduce myself, my name is a/n." You peered at him and was surprised to see an impressed expression on his face. "A wise choice, using your alias just in case I wasn't who I appeared to be," you blushed at his words. "No wonder Light won't shut up about how smart and pretty you are," you halted to a stop and almost dropped your pile again. "WAIT WHAT??!!" You yelled, your whole face turning a bright shade of red.

Ryuzaki chuckled and beckoned you to continue to walk, as you neared your destination Ryuzaki whispered in your ear, "Well who could blame him? You're even more beautiful than he described."

Your blush darkened and you stood there at a loss for words, your mouth opened and closed unable to form words. Ryuzaki giggled and placed his pile onto a desk and gave one of your burning cheeks a pinch, "He also forgot to mention how adorable you are when you blush." And with that Ryuzaki sauntered off, leaving you wide-eyed and star struck.

"Y-you're not so b-bad yourself," you finally managed to say, but alas it was too late, you face palmed, perhaps a little revenge was in order...
