Sighing Wendy slipped into the empty bed, their bed. The other side was vacant and cold. She missed Eunwoo dearly. But due to him touring and working in his band he was away. Wendy smiled sadly, at least he was pursuing his dream. She shut her eyes and drifted into a dreamless sleep.

Buzz buzz

Wendy groaned rubbing the sleep from her eyes, "I didn't set an alarm." Wendy peered at her phone, a text notification message from Eunwoo lit up the screen.

E: Are you awake?
Sent 3:00 am
W: I am nowww ughhh
W: Who in their right mind would be awake at this time?!
E: I'm sorry, I just couldn't stop thinking about you.
E: I miss you
W: I miss you too ya cheesy dork
W: I just want to go to sleeeepp
W: Why is this world so cruellll
E: You're weird
W: Sanha weird?
E: Nah, Sanha is his own weird
E: You're a stupid weird
W: Hey Eunwoo
E: Yeah?
W: Wendy's gone, I killed her. You're next

Wendy heard a distant chuckle behind her bedroom door. She screamed, her eyes widening in fright. "YAAA WHAT'S WRONG?! I'LL SAVE YOU!" Eunwoo shouted bursting through the door. "Eunwoo? What are you doing here?" Wendy asked after she calmed her racing heart. Eunwoo rubbed his neck sheepishly, "I was going to surprise you."

"We have a week long break so I decided to surprise you." Wendy shook her head laughing, "You surprised me alright." Eunwoo grinned and shuffled over towards her, his hands behind his back. "I got you something," he said shyly as he brought his arm from behind his back and pushed a pretty pink bag towards Wendy. "You didn't have to Eunwoo," Wendy blushed taking the bag from him and peering inside, she gasped.

"You got me my favourite bubble tea and pastries from that bakery I like?" Eunwoo nodded his cheeks flushing in embarrassment. "But the bakery is hours away!" Wendy exclaimed. "So what? I'd do anything for my princess," Eunwoo smiled his eyes turning into half moons.

Wendy opened her arms wide, an invitation to hug. Eunwoo immediately complied, his arms embracing her tightly and his head snuggling deeply into her shoulder. "I missed you so much," Wendy murmured playing with Eunwoo's silky black hair. He hummed in content, "I love you." Wendy smiled and placed a sweet kiss to his forehead, "I love you too my idiot."

"Ya! I'm not that much of an idiot!" Eunwoo whined cutely. "You are~" Wendy teased pinching his cheeks. "I can't wait 'till we get married Wendy," Eunwoo said looking into her brown eyes. "Stop joking around Eunwoo!" Wendy blushed. Eunwoo simply smiled, he wasn't joking but he won't tell her that right now.

"So, you lost against a cicada huh?"

"Shut uppp~"
