Your POV
I dragged Ocean down farther into the water, till we made it close to the bottom of the lake floor. He had puffed out cheeks, (don't question) I giggled as I put my hands on them.
"You know you can breathe, right?" I told him. He looked so surprised and let out his air, he grabbed my hands and put them down, still holding on to them.
"What is going on?" His grip became tighter. Terror in his eyes, but his face showed confusion.
"Haha! You're a merskeleton! And I'm a mermaid." I smiled getting out of his grip and swim around a little, I went back to my original spot and looked at Ocean. He just stared at me. Little by little he came closer to me, the gap between us became smaller, he stopped just before his teeth and my lips almost collided. I felt his hot breath hit my lips, before I could say anything, a fish bumped into me and made me lock my lips with his teeth. I closed my eyes and deepened the kiss as he pulled me even closer.

Ocean's POV
We got back to the ship, a little embarrassed, we were quiet and stood a couple feet apart.

Stepping back onto the ship, we both headed to our rooms in silence. Aki, Fuyu, and Pappy looked at each other in confusion.
Your POV
'I can't believe we kissed! I've never kissed someone before!!' I started to freak out, then I heard a knock on the painting.
"(Y/n)! Can we come in?" Anya and Nala asked at the same time. I just put my face in the pillow and let out a muffled 'sure'.
They came in, closing the painting behind them, and they jumped onto my bed, curling up next to me. We ended up taking a small nap. 'Good, I won't have to explain...just yet..' my thought went as I drifted to sleep.
