Ocean's POV
"What if he's just saying that to get you in trouble? Or even captured!? We can't trust him, Y/n." I explained, she just looked disappointed. Her visual disappointment upon her face is what got me going, my head bent down staring at the ground, I turned and moved toward the base steadily. Hearing footsteps behind me, I thought; 'I have to trust Y/n's judgement.'
We caught back up to Jim, what I didn't realize is, there was someone standing in the pathway. This person we have never seen before.
"I'm assuming that the one with h/c hair is Y/n?" The man had a deep voice.
"And what if I am?" Y/n replied, standing straight up and looked the man straight in the eye.
"Well if you are not her then I came all the here for no reason! Hahahaha!" He joked. Y/n and I exchanged some confused glances, then turned out attention back to him. "Well I'm just assuming, have you heard of her? I wanted to speak to her, but the castle is too stuffy to talk to people." He continued to laugh.
"Castle?" Both Y/n and I questioned.
"Oh I haven't introduced myself yet! Haha! My name is Emperor Hegan. It's a pleasure and honor to meet you, Miss Y/n and company." He bowed as he introduced himself. Y/n and I were shocked and stared at him. "Yes! I do have THAT effect on people!" Emperor Hegan smiled widely looking at our shocked faces.
Your Pov
To hear this man was the Emperor of this land was extremely shocking. I am a bit concerned although, meeting him like this, he seems very childish.
"I should clarify, I'm soon-to-be Emperor, my father still has that title." Hegan explains.
'Oh that just makes it better...' I thought.
"I came all this way to find you because I need your help. My father has become ill in the head and forgetting why this country is one of the most peaceful ones. He has been ordering his guards around and terrorizing everyone. The worst part is, he won't let anyone see him except the castle maid and butler." Hegan goes on his hands and knees, "I beg you Miss Y/n and company to help me stop this!"
'Oh so he has daddy issues.'
