THE FLASHBACK

Aman's P.O.V.

"Dude I love her" said my brother as he walked around the room. Being the youngest he became my best friend from my childhood. We shared every secret together. Raj had blonde hair and blue eyes just like my mother....he was the only one who took after her when we all looked just like our father- black hair, black eyes. He was kinda like Prince William of England in our werewolf world...he has the looks and he was a prince...what more can the women ask for??? And this stupid guy had to go and fall in love with a human!!!

"You can't be serious, she's a stupid human" I said. "Yes I know that but, I didn't plan to fall in love with her - it just happened. And yes I'm serious, I want to marry her!" he replied. Well there's no helping it then! He should bring her to the ceremony and see if the oracle blesses them. "Well then, you know what to do right? Bring her to the ceremony and see of the oracle bless you two when you kiss if the elements react, then there'd be no problem. If they don't you'll have to forget her." " I do want to do that but what if the elements don't react to us?? I still want to marry her if they don't!"

"You know that it is impossible to do that!!!! And you know why we can't marry humans just as we like. We don't age like the humans do - when we marry, some of our powers go to our partner which gives her the same amount of life as we have and also strength to cope with our strength - in and out of the bed. If she doesn't get the blessing, either she will die way before you or die while consummating the marriage". H e looked blank as the truth towered over his arguments. He looked lonely discouraged and hurt.

For a few days I didn't see him and when I saw him he was not alone. He was with a girl with brown eyes and brown hair who clung to him. She looked nervous." Come here darling" Raj said to her while walking to the middle rock. I pressed my palms together and prayed to the Oracle to bless them.

Everyone stopped talking as they started kissing as there was nothing else in the planet. Nothing happened. Not a drop of water or flowery breeze went past us. They stopped kissing and Raj looked pale as he realized that none of the elements reacted. He stepped back as my father went near the girl. "Baby what's wrong?? Did we get the approval?? What is happening?" The girl fired questions at him. But with my father's approach she was silenced. She looked blankly at him while he placed his hand on her forehead and wiped every single memory of Raj. Raj looked broken as tears washed his face. With a howl he turned into a werewolf and ran into the dark.
