Josh's POV
We finish our first ever song and go back into the living room, both exhausted and excited.

"Mate, I'm so sorry but I really need to rest," Tyler yawns, flopping onto the couch.

"Aha, don't worry. I'll find something to do."

I barely finish my sentence and Tyler is out cold. I decide to go outside, I don't feel like having a conversation with Tyler's mum, I'm too awkward and she asks way too many questions. She's so kind though.

Once outside I try and navigate myself to Tyler's treehouse, it was nice up there, a good place to just sit and think.

After a few minutes of stumbling through bushes and tripping over familiar tree roots I finally find it.

I quickly climb to the top and then just sit there for a while, taking in the view. I hadn't realised how tired I was before, come to think of it, i haven't had a proper good nights sleep in ages.

I rest my eyes, just thinking about how happy Tyler has made me.

Tyler's POV

"Josh wake up! COME ON!" I say as I shake Josh awake, I knew he'd be in the treehouse.

"Huh?" He whispers, confused, barely awake, "where are we going?"

"Come on we have to hurry! Your dad turned up at my house, we should leave," I tell him, whilst helping him up.

"JOSH?!?" Shouts an angry voice close by.

"I'm so dead," Josh whimpers, "we'd better hurry."

We pretty much fall from the tree house and stumble through the forest in the opposite direction of Josh's Dad.

Finally after about 10 minutes of tripping through the uneven ground, we find a little nook in the base of a tree to hide in. We can still hear Josh's Dad faintly in the distance but we are well hidden.

It was quite a tight squeeze with the two of us in here but it is okay, I like being this close to Josh, I feel  all warm and safe.
