Josh's POV

"NO TYLER! TYLER PLEASE HELP ME! TYLER I NEED YOU...." I scream as I wake. Just a nightmare... thankfully.

After a few minutes I remember everything... everything that happened the day before, I crawl out from under my bed, I go there when I'm upset or just want to hide from life, it's.... nice.

I tiptoe downstairs, my dad is asleep on the couch thankfully. I have a quick look in the mirror and I look decent, nothing out of the ordinary from what you can see, then I quickly rush to school before my dad wakes.

I wait outside for Tyler, I really needed him, just to see his face, for him to make me feel happy again.

Finally he comes towards the entrance of the school, we make eye contact but when he sees me his eyes fill with tears and he bolts inside. Making my heart break... I'd hurt him.

"Tyler? What's up?" I ask him as I sit next to him in Geography.

"Why are you talking to me? Don't you hate me?" He snaps, his lip quivers then he quickly turns around so I can't see his face.

"Why would I hate you?" I asked, he's the last person on the planet I'd hate, he was so amazing.

"I don't know! I'm really annoying! I've texted you and you didn't answer and I.... sent you some weird messages by mistake..."

"Oh, I'm  so sorry but I didn't... manage to see them, yesterday was feeling quite ill so my dad made me stay home, he took my phone away so I could rest, I still haven't got it back, I left really early this morning..." I say quickly, hoping he'll believe me.

"Oh.." He says, looking happier but also slightly confused, "well I'm glad you're feeling better!"

He then gives me a friendly nudge on the arm, but me being me, I wince in pain, he then looks at me worriedly.

"Josh, are you okay?"

"Yeah! I'm great!" I say trying to convince him, he didn't look very convinced.

When the lesson ended and we got up to leave one of bullies, Billie, elbowed me hard in the side as he walked past, I let out a small cry of pain, clutching my sides.

"Pathetic," Billie mutters, "barely even touched you."

I look up to see Tyler's face staring straight at me, trying to figure something out, then he grabs me by the hand starts running.
