Tyler's POV
I don't know why I left so suddenly, it just became really awkward.... I don't know how to act when things get weird....
When I get home my parent's car is there, I wasn't sure what time they were getting home, I think they went out for dinner and a movie or something, but they probably won't care that I've been out, they trust me..... I think.
"Oh, where've you been Tyler?" My mum asks as soon as I enter the house, "we thought you were upstairs!"
"I thought that since you were out and Zack, Maddy and Jay were all out with their friends I could invite someone over.... I was just dropping him off..."
"Oh that's fine," my dad said relieved, "goodnight, you've got school tomo-"
"You invited someone over?" My mum suddenly shouts, cutting my dad off,"like a friend? Why haven't you introduced me to this friend?" My mum asks excited," what's his name? Or her name? Is it a girl? Is a girl! Oh my lord are you dating her? Is she you're girlfriend? Have you kissed her? Have you had.... se-
"MUM! No! Well he's a guy and new to school, I've only just met him really and we are JUST friends!"
"Mmmhhmmm, well just know that you're father and I are okay if you are gay."
"MUM! I'm not gay! We are just friends!"
"Well please tell me all about him! What colour are his eyes? His hair? Is he nice? Is he.... handsome?"
"I think he should get to bed now honey, it's getting very late," my dad says, saving me from having to tell my mum every detail about Josh.
"Thanks dad," I whisper as I pass him to go upstairs.
"And I'm NOT GAY!" I shout from upstairs.
As soon as I'm in my room I close my door, jump into bed and quickly text Josh.
Tyler: Hey Josh, everything okay? Did your dad realise you'd gone?
He doesn't reply, he didn't even read it. He's probably just sleeping though.... I mean none of the lights were on, his dad must of been asleep. Yeah, josh looked really tired, as soon as he got in he probably went straight to bed.
I put down my phone and turn off the light. It takes forever to get to sleep, all I can think about is how amazing my day has been.
