"If I could decide when to experience happiness, I would have it everyday. It also wouldn't hurt anyone if it were Christmas Day everyday."

________________________________"Wake up, you little bitch, it's Christmas." The person tried 'waking me up' a few more times by tapping my shoulder.
Then I twisted around on the bed, snapped open my eyes, and faced her. "Merry Christmas!" I yelled, shooting up and wrapping my arms around her neck.
Alexi groaned, but returned the hug. "You were awake the entire time." She realised.
I smirked. "Of course. I was testing your Guardian abilities." I withdrew from the hug before noticing someone standing behind Lexi.
"Which are obviously not up to speed." The person remarked. I grinned, slipped off the bed and threw myself at him.
"Merry Christmas." I whispered into his ear, feeling my heart jump as he wrapped his arms around my torso and pulled me closer.
"I just can't believe we made it this far." Alexi thought aloud, making me pull out of my hug with Jameson.
"'We'? I'm surprised I made it this far." And apparently Lexi nor Jameson appreciated that joke as their faces grew grim.
Yesterday's meeting had gone well. So well, in fact, that it was impossible to decide if we should just act now, or really wait until the date that Jameson, Lexi and I had originally planned.
We'd have to decide by tonight. Otherwise we will make a big mess of it all.
But until then, it was Christmas Day. Jameson and Lexi had big plans—but hadn't let me in on them. I assumed that meant they were lowkey, you know, us three and Santa Claus as our host.
After everyone left yesterday, Lexi helped me deck out my room for Christmas. We managed to put up a tree—with instructions from Jameson—in the corner of my room, next to the wall that separates my room from Jameson's.
Jameson left after that, so Lexi and I blasted Christmas tunes and glammed the tree up. Whilst Jameson was showering, I snuck a smaller tree with built-in decorations into his room. I placed it on his bedside table, then strung Christmas bunting over his headboard. I left a snow globe on his desk. It was supposed to be a Christmas present, but I decided that I could only follow up his gift with mine.
Suddenly, Lexi started clapping like a complete maniac. "Presents!" She shrieked, running into my bathroom.
She came out holding a large red sack, which I imagined was full to the brim with presents.
"You sneaky little–"
"–I'll get mine." Jameson said, before disappearing into his room. Who the hell are my Guardians? Elves?
Jameson reappeared, and they glanced at me, obviously waiting for me to get my presents.
I sighed, retreating over to my window seat. The pair watched me curiously as I kneeled down and pried the bottom of the window seat, where all the piping was, away from the corner.
