A little picnic

I was later pacing in my room because this was my first time. My parents would not approve. But, I don't care.

Knock-knock

I go to the door and open it to see Lauren.

"Nervous?" She asks me.

"Um, Yes!" I practically shouted.

"Everyone is nervous on their first date-" Lauren started.

"Hang. We are hanging out. Kinda like a date, and kinda not." I corrected her.

"Whatever. Try these." She said handing me something. "They're called headphones. I don't think you have them where you are from. Pick a song, and relax. That's what I do." She then left the room.

I put on the headphones and looked at a thing plugged in with it a the other side of the chord. I clicked a song that looked familiar and it started playing.

I started singing along with it.

"We should take this back to myyy place. That's what she said right to myyy face. 'Cause I want you bad, yeah, I want you, baby. Slow, slow hands, like sweat dripping down or dirty laundry. No, no chance, that I'm leaving here without you and me, I, I know, Yeah, is already know there ain't no stopping your plans and those, slow hands... slow hands."

And then heard laughter behind me. I took off the headphones and saw Daniel laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"You." He answered.

(A couple hours later)

"Now Joey, just stay calm and don't start screaming randomly, if he doesn't like you for you, he's not the man for you, and-" Meghan and Lauren were telling me.

"Guys! It's just a date/hangout. Not a wedding." I told them.

"Also, where you are going is a very magical place. Don't disturb anything." Lauren told me. "You're ready. He's waiting outside."

"Go!" Lauren and Meghan both yelled.

I left the room feeling butterflies fill my stomach. I cussed under my breath. Damnit, I was scared. I walked out the doors and saw Daniel waiting. I didn't know how to say hi, so I ran up behind him a jumped on his back. At first he wasn't expecting it and we almost fell, but, he caught his balance.

"A simple hi would be nice!" He said as he sat me down.

"Oh, whoops. Hi!" I said giggling. "I'm sorry, this is my first date."

"Yeah, I can kinda tell." He said smiling. "Now, come child, I shall show you where we are going."

He started walking and I caught up. Damn I was nervous. Do I really wanna do this? We walked for about 5 mintues, talking about our past life until he told me to cover my eyes. Of coarse I didn't want to at first, but than I did.

"Okay, lift your foot or you'll trip..." Daniel said guiding me.

"This would be easier if you have me a piggy back ride." I suggested.

"Your right." He replied and then I was on his back. "Okay, climb down, and then sit."

I slowly climbed down and felt the ground before I sat down. I could here him grab something and then sit down.

"Okay, now you can open your eyes." Daniel said.

I looked around in awe.

"Uhh, a, oh, uhhh." I tried saying something. Daniel laughed.

"You gonna be okay?" He asked.

"Y-yeah..." I gulped. "It's, I've never seen anything like it."

"Yeah, you don't see enchanted or magical things like this where we are from." Daniel explained. "Starwberry?" He said handing me a strawberry.

"Sure." I said and he slid a picnic basket in between us.

We finished eating and I laid my head down in his shoulder. He then moved closer. I snuggled up next to him like a cat and then we looked into each other's eyes, slowly moving closer. I've never been kissed and I got nervous, so I just did what he did.

"Oh, wait." Daniel said backing up. "I'll be right back. I'm going to get something."

In a way I was relieved, but in the other, I was disappointed I sat there daydreaming about his forest and then saw a shadow.

"Whew! I thought you left me!" I said. And then the figure got bigger. "Daniel?" I stood up to see if I could get a better view. Then all of a sudden, something grabbed me from behind and then something was held to my face. Then everything went black.
