Leondre's POV**

It's Emily's birthday tomorrow, and none of us know what's going on for it. She insists she has this one covered, and yet none of us have heard anything.

"Hey, Leondre, you coming over?" Joey comes in, focusing on his phone.

"Coming over where?" I ask, still playing Overwatch.

"We're going to the studio."

"Who's 'we'?" I ask, not pausing my game and dying as a result.

"Me and Charlie."

"Charlie and I." I mutter, trying to find the point again.

"Yeah, whatever. You coming?" Joey asks again, and I shake my head.

"Nah, Em wants me round in a bit, so-"

"You okay?"

"Well, we have a month left, so no." I shrug. "But what can you do?"

Joey just nods, leaving me with my game.

I try not to let my mind wander, but it does and so I end up around at Emily's again.

"Oh, Leondre. Hi." Emily answers the door, looking a little surprised in her onesie, no makeup and clutching a bottle of what seems to be homemade iced coffee.

"Hey." I struggle to think of something to say, to explain why I'm here."

"Come on, Devries." She laughs, pulling me in and up the stairs to her room. "Here, wanna watch Game of Thrones with me?"

I smile at her, and we stay up for the next eight hours on her bed eating takeaway pizza and watching tv.

Midnights rolls around and I poke her tattoo. "Hey, birdie."

She laughs at the lame nickname, turning to look at me with a smile. "Yeah?"

"Happy seventeenth birthday." I kiss her gently, and she smiles, pulling away after a few seconds.

"You're way too cute to be real Devries." And kisses me again.

Charlie's POV**

Leondre comes back at three in the morning, smiling like an idiot, messing with his sleeves. He goes through to the kitchen and gets a drink then joins me in the lounge.

"What's got you so happy?" I grin slyly. "And does it have anything to do with the fact there's a hickey on your collar?" I take a shot, and he looks at me wide-eyed, his hand flying up to touch his collarbone, so I know I'm right.

"Charlie!" He laughs, "Yeah, actually, yeah."

---------------------------------------------------------------

After Leondre gave me no details and just the basics (thank god) we went to bed, only to now be woken up by screams of laughter from outside four hours later.

"Charlie come on, get up!" Leondre shakes me awake, and I roll over, falling off the bed.

"What the hell, man?" I groan, getting off the floor and reaching for some clothes.

"You have got to come see this!" He drags me out, and I just manage to get a shirt on before he drags me outside, blinding me with rare sunlight.

I'm pulled around to the back of Emily's house, past the pool and-

"What is going on, man?" I ask, but no one answers, 'cause Leondre's already running off to one of the five bouncy castles.

"Charlie! Finally, mate!" Emily laughs, bouncing around in socks.

"I-"

"Charlieeee!" Someone yells, and I turn to see Chloe in another bouncy castle with my sister.

I remember it's Emily's birthday and laugh. "You're seventeen, and you decide to hire bouncy castles?!" I laugh.

"Do you have something against bouncy castles?" Pete asks from the third inflatable thing.

"No, no."

"I have an idea!" Tilly screams, getting everyone's attention. "Onesie timeee!"

Leondre and I look at each other, before racing around to get the onesies Pete bought us for the tour.

We all meet back out, where Emily has set up a surround sound system outside and is playing anything anyone requests through it.

Amelia and Tyler are in fluffy onesies, and I decide that Pete ordered a bunch more for everyone coming - and it seems to be quite a lot of people. A car pulls up, and Jason, and Jaz and a few others arrive, going inside to change into onesies as instructed.

We have an amazing time, and at some point, Pete and my mum push together all the inflatable things so we can bounce between all three at the same time.

"This! Is! Amazing!" Emily laughs, happiness written on her face. I laugh, bouncing over to get some food, seeing as I'm starving, and Chloe joins me.

"You alright babe?" I ask her and she grins.

"Yeah. This is so fun! I love Emily!"

I grin. "I'm glad you two get along."

"Yeah, we talk all the time. You know she has a weird sarcastic sense of humour? Yeah, it actually helps me feel better sometimes." She smiles at me and I smile back.

I'm happy my girlfriend and friends are all friends, cause otherwise it would not be nice.

"Yeah, and I help her with all the girly things as well. Like how to dress, have fun, drink, and what to do.in last night's situation." I almost spit my drink out.

"Too much detail Chloe!" I groan and she just laughs.

"Don't be such a baby!" I roll my eyes, kissing her cheek.

We turn and look at everyone outside. "I can't believe she's leaving."
