chapter one
"gold stars"" tell me, is your last name actually gold? or do you just really like gold stars, "
~
She couldn't take it anymore, it was just too hard.
The moment replayed over and over again in her head.
"Did you see fireworks when you kissed me?"
"...No."
He was so dumb, so stupid to go back to her, especially at the cost of Sam. He had already stolen his spot on the football team, and now he stole his girlfriend.
She couldn't believe that Finn could find it it in his heart to forgive the girl who outright slept with another guy and got pregnant with him and then tried and pose the baby as Finn's, yet he couldn't find it in his heart to forgive Rachel for kissing another guy.
How stupid.
Tears filling her eyes, Rachel ran through the empty halls of McKinley to her locker. She yanked the thing open, and grabbed out her purse and jacket before slamming the door shut and running out of the school.
So much for Valentine's Day.
She ran out to her car and slammed the door behind her and broke out into sobs.
She needed to get out of that damn school for a while. She drove to the first place she could think of, the only other place besides school where she could feel lonely yet be surrounded by people- the mall.
She got out of her car and slammed the door behind her, her eyes still puffy and her face red. She pulled open the doors that led her to the place filled with hundreds of people. Since she hadn't had lunch, she decided to go to the food court as her first stop.
To drown her sorrows, she ordered french fries and a water. She slowly ate them and watched the figures pass by her in the mall. She threw her fry back into her basket and fell back into her chair and closed her eyes. Anyone who was paying attention would've thought she was crazy. Out of a nowhere, a girl in a female-cut, navy blue blazer with the emblem "CCD" above the left breast in royal purple appeared. To accompany her un-traditional outfit, she was wearing a navy blue and royal purple plaid uniform skirt, with a white button down underneath the blazer and a matching purple tie. Her legs and feet were dressed in navy knee-high socks and black loafers. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hair was the perfect shade of dirty blonde, and was perfectly straight up until the ends, where it was curled in the ever so slightest.
