"What the hell Rach!?" Finn called after the short brunette.

Despite various protests from everyone, especially Mr. Schue and Quinn, Finn still decided to go after Rachel.

She stopped, her arms folded close to her chest. After the song had ended, she dismissed herself from the room, in hopes that someone (Finn) would not follow her.

But boy was she wrong.

"You wouldn't understand Finn." She said coldly, not turning around to face him.

He rolled his eyes, and jogged down the hall to the halfway point, where Rachel had planted herself. She had her eyes averted to the floor as he stopped in front of her.

"I don't understand," he started, "I thought you loved being here at McKinley, being apart of the New Directions. Wasn't it you who said 'Being apart of something special makes you special?'" Finn asked.

She looked up into his eyes, "Things change Finn. People change. Being apart of the New Directions didn't make me feel that specialness you're referring to. But singing with The Sopranos, singing with Maddie, it just feels right." She stated.

Finn looked at her, the hurt and sadness clear in his expression, "Did you even bother to think about me? How this would affect me?" He asked selfishly.

Rachel shook her head, "And people say I'm the selfish one," she muttered under her breath, "Yes, I did think of you, Finn. In fact, you were the deciding factor. You were the deciding factor that made me want to leave." Rachel said.

Finn looked at the ground, almost ashamed. "I made you want to leave." He was almost afraid to ask. He was sure he had just imagined her response.

Rachel nodded a "yes" as a reply to his question. She stayed looking at him for a few moments, before continuing out the doors of McKinley for the last time.

Maddie and Rachel took their seats across from Kurt and Blaine. Kurt held a coffee, Blaine with a latté and a croissant, Madeline also carried a coffee, and Rachel had ordered a chai tea latte with soy milk.

"I really can't believe you left," Kurt began. "Tell me about it, why did you decide to finally do it?"

Rachel glanced at Madeline and giggled a bit, "Well if it wasn't for Maddie I would've never transferred. She saved my life." Rachel laughed.
