"this has been too much drama for dinner"

"Ok, so how do I get to Breadstix?" Madeline asked Rachel, as she got in the car and buckled up.

Rachel shot her head in Madeline's direction, her eyes wide. "You've never been to Breadstix?"

Madeline shook her head "no", and Rachel's mouth dramatically fell agape.

An grin spread on Rachel's face, "Well then you are in for a surprise."

Maddie's little blue Honda pulled into a parking spot close to the door, and her and Rachel got out of the car. Maddie held the front door of Breadstix open for Rachel, and Rachel held the foyer door open for Maddie. Before speaking to the hostess, the two girls scanned the restaurant until Maddie finally spotted the back of Blaine's head at one of the table. Rachel followed Maddie to the booth.

"Hey," Madeline smiler brightly, and took a seat next to Blaine. Rachel took off her jacket and hung it on the hook next to the table and took a seat next to Kurt. "So, what's good here?" Madeline asked.

Kurt and Rachel shared a little giggle before Kurt said "Anything here is fine. I just don't recommend anything that comes with seafood." Kurt suggested and the whole table cringed.

Maddie set her menu down and looked eagerly between the two boys. "What?" Kurt asked.

"We wanted to know if you guys would be our dates to the hoedown next weekend where the Soprano's are doing their debut performance!" Rachel squealed with excitement.

"It's going to be a lot of fun and Rachel and I are doing the solos!" Maddie added to Rachel's excitement.

Kurt put his menu down and frowned, "Is western gear required?"

Maddie laughed, "Of course silly, it's a hoedown!"

"Then I won't be caught dead there!" Kurt exclaimed.

"Yeah, square dancing isn't really my thing." Blaine chimed in.

But before Rachel could retort, the whole table turned to see who had just cleared their throat.

It's like Rachel had seen a ghost, as Finn Hudson and Quinn Fabray stood at the end of their table. Quinn looked bored and annoyed, as usual, and Finn looked very curious and surprised to see Rachel.
