Limerence [BNHA]

Chapter 01: My Starting Point

Third Person's P.O.V

"That's mean, Kacchan," a timid-looking boy with unruly green hair whimpered in fear. He was standing in front of a sniveling boy who was apparently a victim of bullying. Looking at the current situation, the green-haired boy was protecting the victim from the bullies that stood before their eyes. The former added, "Can't you see he's crying? If you keep going, I-I-I'll never forgive you!"

"Heh. Even though you're quirkless..." the leader of the bullies named Bakugou Katsuki said, pausing to slam his right fist against his left palm, producing an explosion that served as a threat to those who dared to oppose him. He was sporting a shit-eating grin and he continued, "...you're pretending to be a hero, Deku?"

Without warning, the three bullies leaped towards 'Deku' with their quirks activated. However, just as they were halfway from their target, a young, feminine voice screamed, "Stop!"

Suddenly, a girl with short medium blue hair and a pair of conspicuous cherry red eyes sprinted and stood in front of the small green-haired boy as if she was fully prepared to take the bullies' onslaughts. Seeing her sudden appearance instantly put a halt to all of the three bullies. The abrupt stop made them all land on the ground clumsily.

"It's you again..." an antagonistic voice came out of the bullies' leader's mouth. The ash blond boy, Bakugou, sent a glare at the newcomer and growled, "Stop sticking your nose into somebody else's business, you ittan-momen!"

The girl replied with a small whimper, "I can't just watch and let you bully some kids, Suki."

Bakugou ignored the nickname she always called him ever since they were very young and pointed an accusing finger at the girl, "This is the hundredth times you interrupted me. Get a life already, you bitch!"

The girl said nothing in response as she put on a deadpan look and mused, 'You're the one who should get a life instead of making fun of weaker people...'

"Now get out of my way! I'm not done with you yet, Deku!" Bakugou snarled at them as tiny explosions erupted on his palms. Seeing this made Midoriya and the victim of bullying quiver in fear while the young girl only furrowed her eyebrows in discontent.

When the girl made no move to comply with his order, Bakugou snapped at her, "Oi, ittan-momen! Are you deaf?! Step aside or I will blow your head into pieces!"

The frown on the unidentified girl's face only deepened and she questioned with a shy voice, "Why do you like to fight so much, Suki?"

"Why does it matter to you?!" stormed Bakugou, "You don't have to deal with any of this if you could just stop hindering me in everything I do!"

The unknown girl responded him with silence but she still didn't budge from her spot. The trembling boy behind her, Midoriya Izuku, grasped her hand and pleaded, "I-I'll be fine, Saki-chan. You can g-go now. I'll... be f-fine..."

Anyone could tell that Midoriya was extremely fearful of Bakugou just by hearing his voice. The way he said his last words were as if he was trying to convince himself.

"It looks like you really are deaf!" Bakugou chuckled mockingly, "Oi, Deku, why don't you take her to the side, huh?! You should stop hiding behind her and fucking do something for once!"

"Suki."

Instead of Deku answering the ash blond bully, it was the unnamed girl. Her eyebrows now formed a light scowl, and she said unsmilingly, "If you like to fight so much, then fight me."

Bakugou, the arrogant boy that was up for any challenge, accepted her offer with a smug grin gracing his features. He told her that he wouldn't give an ounce of mercy to her even if she was a little girl or even if she was his childhood friend.
