Third Person's P.O.V
It was a quiet and peaceful day around the neighborhood, although most of the residents were still pretty thrilled and animated about the U.A. Sports Festival that just concluded yesterday. People were still talking about the event at a seemingly non-stop pace. Even right at this moment (which was around noon), various news channels on the television were publishing multiple reports regarding the festival. They also provided some basic information about several U.A. students that they deemed outstanding.
But all in all, it was still a very peaceful day.
That was until...
"Die!!!"
Just by reading that one word, you could accurately speculate who just said that. It was none other than Bakugou Katsuki who just woke up from his long slumber at noon. He was still pissed at the 'unfair' fight he had with Todoroki and his 'trashy' victory yesterday, and now he was even more furious to discover the long chat that occurred between the same dual-haired boy and his Ittan-Momen.
He couldn't help but be outraged upon reading the said conversation. He could practically see Saki and Todoroki getting closer and closer in front of his eyes. It did not go unnoticed by him that after Todoroki's battle with Midoriya, the former had mellowed out and began to lose his touch. He also started to open up, and due to that character development, it became much more comfortable and smoother for him and Saki to get closer.
On top of that, he could literally see Saki slowly slipping through his fingers.
It irked and confused him why he was being so territorial over that girl, but he knew that it certainly felt right to keep Saki close with him. He always had the urge to chase away any boy that threatened to snatch her attention.
After angrily brushing his teeth and getting nagged by his mother, he sat back down on his bed and began to contemplate with a deep scowl on his face.
He mused, 'I'm not going to lose to that Canada flag boy! I'm going to do something about this!'
Meanwhile, Terada Saki was currently sitting at the dining table with her father named Terada Hayate. The rest of her family members were not present due to some businesses such as classes and job, and Saki considered this a great chance to confront her father about something regarding her and Todoroki.
A broad smile crept its way to Hayate's mouth, and he murmured, "You want to know about how I first met Shouto, huh?"
Both of them were seated across from each other and Saki nodded her head, responding, "Yeah. Todoroki also mentioned last night that I had once visited him when we were very young, but I couldn't remember anything. That's why I am asking you, Papa."
Hayate's eyebrows lifted in surprise, not because of her request, but because of two particular words she just uttered. He repeated in puzzlement, "Last night?"
Saki's entire body produced a sudden jerk of shock after hearing that, realizing that it might sound a bit weird to everybody else. Now flustered, her cheeks immediately took on a bright, pink hue as she quickly spoke up with both of her arms making wild gestures, "N-no! I mean like... Todoroki and I were chatting on our phones, and suddenly he told me that so... I got curious!"
"Oooh!" responded Hayate, seemingly amused by his daughter's reaction which he thought adorable, "I see! But it kind of surprised me that the two of you know one another's phone number even though you two seemed like you're not that close during the sports festival."
Intense heat flew over Saki's face as she added, "T-that's because we have a class group-chat and that's how we got each other's phone number... but anyway, Papa, just tell me already!"
