Saki's P.O.V

"Start!"

And thus we began and shoved ourselves through everyone. Everything was too crowded and suffocating as we entered the narrowed tunnel. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't annoyed by multiple bodies pushing against me. Not to mention that the air was getting too stuffy and malodorous. It was that moment I realized that this could be considered an obstacle. I need to think of some ways to escape this throng!

I took out a notebook from one of the pockets of my pants, possessed control over the papers, and threw them up into the air. Half of them attached themselves to the wall on my left and the other half went to the wall on my right. The sheets began to form a large, bulky arm which resulted in each wall having an arm as white as the paper.

I straightened out both of my arms as high as I could. That's when the paper arm on my right side grasped my right limb, and the other paper arm on my left seized the other limb. They pulled me out of the swarm of competitors and, once I was fully ready, threw me forward as forceful as they could. Noted that they did all of this under my control.

I flew over the rest of the students' heads and landed a few meters in front of all of them, eventually coming out of the dark and overcrowded tunnel. I could barely restrain a grin as I kept on running onward.

"Oh?! The first one to come out of the tunnel is Terada Saki from hero course! That was fast!" announced Present Mic who carried the persona of a radio host.

Suddenly, I felt an intense blast of cold air blustering from behind me. I threw a glance behind me and saw Todoroki sprinting ahead of everyone else but not before freezing all of them and the ground. Our eyes locked and a sense of rivalry surged through my veins. Present Mic's voice boomed, "Todoroki Shouto is the second one to come out but he did not forget to leave an ice age behind! He is now gaining on Terada!"

That's when I heard Katsuki's scream way behind Todoroki, "I won't let you get away so easily! You half-and-half bastard! Ittan-momen!"

I disregarded everything as I pushed forth. I know I could make a flying skateboard and go much faster but I need to save my stamina. Who knows what could happen next? Maybe there will be an obstacle that requires a lot of energy to defeat.

"I've outwitted you, Terada, Todoroki! How pathetic!" Mineta, who was seemingly flying towards us both, hollered with a sinister grin, "Take this! My special attack! Gra-"

A robotic item that came out of nowhere suddenly smashed into him, shoving the Grapejuice away like a football. I immediately skidded to a halt upon realizing that humungous robots were blocking the path and in a matter of seconds, Todoroki arrived and stood next to me.

"Obstacles have shown up suddenly!" Present Mic's voice bellowed, "Starting with the first barrier! Robo Inferno!"

I gasped once I fully recognized them, "Aren't those the zero-point villains from the entrance exam?"

I heard some people ranting somewhere in the back, "Seriously? The hero course had to fight those?"

"This is what they meant by obstacles?!"

"There are too many! I can't get through!"

Todoroki spoke up as a massive shadow loomed over us threateningly, "So this is what you fought in the general entrance exam?"

I replied, "Yeah, but we were told to avoid them at all cost."

"Hmph, if they went through all this trouble, I wish they would've prepared something better," the dual-haired boy stated as he slammed his right foot onto the ground, summoning ice under his boot, and placed his hand on the floor. Ice materialized around him under his power as a ginormous zero-point robot brought its hand closer to Todoroki who growled, "Since my stupid old man is watching."
