Saki's P.O.V

Aizawa informed us, "For today's hero basic training, it's turned into a class with three instructors, All Might and me, and one more person."

My classmates and I displayed a little bit of confusion and surprise after hearing that. All Might is supposed to be the only teacher that teaches us Hero Basic Training, right? So after finding out from Aizawa that two more teachers are added into today's hero basic training, we couldn't help but feel a bit unsettled.

Sero Hanta threw his arm up and inquired, "Excuse me! What will we be doing?"

Aizawa showed us a card with vast and bright blue 'RESCUE' word imprinted on it, and he elucidated, "Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between. It's rescue training."

All of my classmates showed their reactions – some were shocked, some were excited, and others looked worried. I heard Kaminari say as a drop of sweat ran down the side of his face, "Looks like it'll be a lot of work this time, too."

Kirishima leaned forward on his desk and said with a grin, "Idiot, this is the duty of a hero! My arms are ready to rumble!"

Tsuyu admitted, "No one can beat me in water, ribbit."

"Hey, I'm not done," said Aizawa and we all shifted our attentions back to him, "You can decide if you want to wear your costume or not this time. Because there are probably costumes that limit your abilities, too. The training will take place off-campus, so we're taking a bus. That is all. Start getting ready."

'Of course, I'm going to wear my hero costume,' I thought as I stood up and went to collect my bag.

Once we finished changing, all of us waited in front of the school building. Uraraka and I asked Izuku why he donned the school's P.E. uniform and the green-haired boy responded that his hero costume got ripped during our last combat training. I threw a glance at Bakugou who was unquestionably responsible for that.

This time, Bakugou only wore one large grenade-like gauntlet around his right forearm. There was also another person that I noticed who had removed some material about his hero costume and that was Todoroki. He currently did not have any ice covering the left side of his face, unlike that first time I saw him in his hero costume. The dual-haired boy was sitting quietly on a bench all alone and was staring into space. Bakugou, on the other hand, stood not far from behind him and seemingly gazed at the school building.

A loud whistle suddenly enacted, catching nearly all of us off guard. We looked to see Iida blowing the whistle rather enthusiastically and raised his voice for us all to hear, "Class 1-A, gather around! Form two lines by your student numbers to make boarding the bus go smoothly!"

We obeyed him with Bakugou grumbling quietly, apparently irritated that someone was ordering him around. Once we boarded the bus, we realized that the bus' seats formation was completely different to what Iida and the rest of us thought. In the end, we got to take seats randomly, and Iida was visibly down in the dumps since he felt embarrassed that he somewhat failed at his task.

I ended up sitting alongside Todoroki whose seat was right next to the window. Jirou sat in front of me and Bakugou sat beside her. The former seemed worried that she had to sit next to the boy whose temper was as short as the speed of thunder, but she plopped down beside him nonetheless while the latter acted as no one existed in this world but him. However, I was discombobulated at the fact that he stole several glances at me from time to time. I was acutely aware of this since he was practically sitting in front of me and was within my line of vision.

The boy with heterochromatic eyes was apparently having a catnap next to me. I recalled those times when I caught him dozing during classes now and then although I wasn't too sure if he was sleeping or not but one thing I was certain about was that his eyes closed for quite a long while.
