Third Person's P.O.V
A huge man with bright flames dancing on certain parts of his costume stood tall somewhere in the back of the stands which were packed with enlivened spectators. Anyone would recognize just by glancing at him that he was the renowned No. 2 Hero known as Endeavor. His arms crossed over his massive chest, and his forbidding eyes were glued to the large TV that showed several screens of U.A. High first-year students were doing their best to overcome the obstacle race.
Whenever his son appeared on the screen, his orbs would jump straight to him, and he eyed every movement the dual-haired boy made. He could hear some audiences conversing about his son in awe of his strength and some of his excellent skills. Endeavor couldn't deny that he felt just a pinch of pride welling inside him upon overhearing them. After all, that boy – known as Todoroki Shouto – was his masterpiece.
But his vexation conquered that emotion. It irked and confused him about why Shouto refused to use his fire – his own biological father's quirk. All he could do was wished for his son to end his 'teenage-rebellion' phase and use his fire side willingly as soon as possible.
"The last time we saw them together was when they were three-years-old," a familiar voice came from behind him, "Now look at them."
Endeavor looked to see it was Terada Hayate who sent him a tiny smile. It was the man he first met when they entered the U.A. High a long time ago. After they graduated, they went their own ways and after more than ten years, they met once again in an ill-suited situation. Hayate was battling against a villain who was steadily overpowering him, and then Endeavor jumped in and instantly defeated the enemy.
Since then, Hayate regarded the No. 2 Hero as his savior while the latter stated that he's only doing his job. Hayate ignored that and tried to befriend him up until now. Their personalities were the complete opposite of one another, and many people wondered why Hayate still hadn't got himself burnt to ashes by the snappish Pro Hero. Their eyes were thrown back to the massive screen when they heard Present Mic's booming voice, "Oooh! I think we can all see who the top three is now! But the question is who will get the first place?!"
Todoroki Shouto, Bakugou Katsuki, and Terada Saki were racing towards the finish line with the dainty-figured girl leading the pack. Hayate smiled and voiced out his opinion, "Isn't it nice to see our children competing out there? The two of them completely forgot that they met one another when they were three-years-old."
"No," another new voice came in, "Saki-chan was the one who forgot. She's the only one who saw Shouto who was sleeping at that time."
The two men looked to see Saki's mother named Terada Mayumi. She sent a piercing glare at Endeavor before she turned to her husband and her gaze softened instantly. She handed a plastic bag to him and said, "Here's your popcorn."
"Thank you, honey!" Hayate chirped as he grasped the bag gently.
Endeavor cast his eyes back to the gigantic TV screen and interjected, "I should've known that you also brought that witch here."
Mayumi's eyes narrowed into a ferocious glare while Hayate's orbs widened in alarm. The former took a step towards the Flame Hero and barked, "Then what about you? What are you doing here, you abuser?"
"I am here to watch Shouto," said the famed Flame Hero.
"I am here to watch Saki-chan too, so of course I'm going to be here," retorted Mayumi.
"Why can't we all just be civil to one another and watch our children, huh?" intervened Hayate who was munching his popcorn with his eyes fixated on the TV screen that displayed the students and the progress of the obstacle race, "Oh look. They have entered the tunnel now."
