I woke up, a daze at first, but quickly spun back into place. I was thickly and roughly tied to a large Oak tree. The ropes ran all the way around.
I looked to Brianna, feeling relief swarm in my bones. Cody still stood, although a slight difference shown through his entranced expression.
Brianna started to grin at me, wide and wicked.
"I think I'm ready to take it to the next level," Brianna stated, gazing upon Cody.
She suddenly reached out, and snapped Cody's neck with her bare hands! Cody's body thudded to the ground, as I screamed out in anguish.
I bursted into tears automatically. Brianna grinned, intrigued by my pain. She bent down next to Cody, as I struggled aimlessly under the ropes to get free.
Brianna lifted her hand over his body. Ten seconds later, Cody took a large inhale. He shot up, looking around fearfully. I cried harder, yet much more joyous now.
Brianna looked deeply into his eyes. Her trance seemed to have kept him calm.
"What happened?" Cody questioned, looking toward me in confusion. I flicked my tear-soaked eyes to Brianna. She still had the same smirk, and it grew wider and wider by the minute.
"Why?" I struggled to say. My voice shook unwillingly, still making me seem as though the weak one.
"For practice," Brianna spoke, amused.
"What?" I started. "You used him for practice?" I sobbed.
She smirked, and nodded as though it was a normal thing. Yet, nothing was normal about any of this. I felt this rage set a fire upon my soul. My anger overwhelmed every other sense in my body, even the urge to be good, and to control it.
I knew I couldn't get physical with Brianna. She would kick my ass in a heartbeat. There was only one defense. I wasn't experienced with it, but she had to pay for her actions. There must be justice.
My emotions went a blaze, as well as the roaring power inside of me. I could feel adrenalin and power rush through my insides.
I burst into a treacherous scream, throwing my hands towards Brianna. Somehow, I knew what I was capable of. Yet, as the colorful mist-like electrical power rushed from my hands towards Brianna, she quickly flew up her hands in time to catch it.
Her own dark power slowly edged its way towards me, straining against my own as she pushed her hands forward, grinning as I struggled to keep my stance.
Our powers were eventually colliding in the middle, hers dark, and mine light.
I will not be taken down by this backstabbing, evil spirit that goes by the identity of my sister.
I started to push, determination forming upon my strength. Her smile started to fade, as I was about to be the end of her.
Yet, her fear grew into a defense mode. She brought her hands back, and shoved forward a huge urge of power.
As our powers collided with full force, a small explosion occurred. Yet, Brianna's body flew away as the explosion went a blaze. Somehow, it hadn't touched me.
