From the moment she was born, Liddell was a cursed child.

Her mother, Gale, was the queen of faeries. Her father, who shall not be named, was said to be a powerful god- or at least parts of one. Her aunt by her mother was also one of the fae, but claimed to be queen of all the shadow creatures this world spawned. Due to this mixed history, no one is sure of when Liddell's natural morality lies.

Shiloh is Liddell's moral companion, brought to the young faerie through her mother. He became her only friend, and she hated him for it. According to Liddell, Shiloh was even more overbearing than her mother, not allowing Liddell to go out in the world to learn who she is. What she didn't know was that Shiloh constantly challenged Gale to let Liddell roam free. He didn't care what Liddell though of him, quite naturally, but he found her highly amusing.

It was because of Shiloh that Liddell was able to leave her homeworld.

It was because of Shiloh that Liddell came into possession of a wheelchair, as she could not walk on her own.

It was because of Shiloh that Liddell knew she had someone to count on, even if she didn't want them near her.

And for that, even though she would never admit it, Liddell was -secretly- grateful.
