Chapter 24 - THE END

Chapter 24

"George babe you need to calm down." I said through the phone. Today were the semi finals and he was freaking out. "I'm sorry. It's just, I'm so nervous you have no idea!" He chuckled but I could hear it was forced. "George... you're going to do great believe me. And yeah I'm not going to lie, there is a chance that this might be your last performance in the x-factor and that's why you have to enjoy it while it lasts. And no matter what, I will always be your biggest fan." I said and he sighed. "Thank you Jazz, I honestly have no idea what I would do without you."
After a "Bye" and a "I love you" we hung up.

Right now, I was in the car to pick up Toni and Justin. I am so happy everything turned out well. They are so cute together. And I just want her to smile more, and I hope Justin can help her, this time in a good way.

I was at her house and texted her that I was here. 3 minutes later they came outside, teasing and poking each other. "Hi there, lovebirds! Get in." Toni her cheeks were red and she got in the car. "Hi Jazz!" Justin gave me a peck on the cheek. "Safe that for her." I pointed to Toni. "Oh will you shut up? It was friendly." He laughed, Toni joining him. "You know she hates to kiss people, well George not included." She smirked. "Hey!" Oh sometimes I hate her. "Well that's exactly why I did it." Justin stated. "Okay, okay, I get it! Enough with the teasing, we are already late."

We arrived at the arena and we were, as expected, late. Alright not late, but I promised George that I would come and see him backstage before the show but there wasn't time left for that. I checked my phone and saw that I received multiple messaged from George.

Jazz, where are you?

Babe are you almost here?

Jazz where are you? I can't do this without you!

I'm so nervous babe...

And a lot more of those. I felt so guilty for not being on time, but I blame the two lovebirds so I decided to send him a quick text.

Babe I'm so freaking sorry really! But I was waiting for Toni and Justin and there was traffic so I'm sorry I couldn't make it backstage but I'm here in the arena and you just have to know that no matter what happens today, I'm proud of you. Just don't think about the fact that this are the semi-finals and don't stress yourself out more. You'll do great I know! x

When we searched our seats, Elin and Dylan were already there, snuggling next to each other. What's up with all the couples today?
"Hi guys!" They both greeted us and we sat down. A few seconds later the show started. The boys came on and sang 'I Am Already There' they did great, like always. I would lie if I said I didn’t had tears in my eyes. I was so proud of them and it all went so fast.
After the break they performed 'See Beneath Your Beautiful'. I love this song and hearing Union J sing it was incredible. I saw that all my friends were enjoying it, so I was happy.

The second break was over and now we would get the results, I was so nervous. I really believe in them, but it is the semi-finale and anything can happen right now. I am already really glad they came this far, they have a bright future and everything will turn out well.

"The act that will leave us tonight is..." Dermot, the presenter, opened the envelop "Is...Union J" And what went thought me at that moment I had no idea. I cried, but it wasn't only because they didn't get through, it were also happy tears. The boys cried too.

"Before they go, they will sing one last song. Here is Union J with Love Story."

This was one of their best performances. Josh and George almost fell of the stage and I laughed so hard. At this moment, we were going backstage. "They were so good." Toni said. "They did great." Justin smiled. "They were. Are you alright, Jazz?" Elin asked. "Yeah, yeah, I am fine. Again, I am so proud, you have no idea." I was though and in that moment I saw George. He was hugging the other lads, when he caught my eye, he ran towards us. "Geeeorge!" And the tears left my eyes. "Hey, it is okay. We are fine. I love you." I was about to say the same when I felt his lips on mine. He smiled through the kiss, and so did I.

"Let's go somewhere." He smirked. "Where?" I asked. "A party." I was hesitant at first but hey, a little party never killed nobody right? The guys quickly got changed and we went to the cars. "Okay so were exactly are we going?" I asked. "It's a club downtown. We usually go there after our performances to celebrate, only George never joins us." Josh answered with a smirk. "What? Why didn't George join you?" This time George replied. "I'd rather spend time with you then go to some stupid club." That's the sweetest thing ever. I looked in his eyes and quickly kissed him on the cheek.

A little bit later we arrived at the club. We all stepped out of the car and we went inside. The first thing I noticed was that it was really crowded. Lonely people drinking at the bar, not so lonely people grinding next to one another. Gosh, I like parties, but this one is big. Elin was the first to go to the dance floor and she dragged Dylan with her. Typical. Toni, Justin, Olly and Jaymi sat down at a little table and ordered some drinks. Josh and JJ were already surrounded by pretty girls.
"Let's dance." I said, while taking his hand, he smiled widely. We were about to go to the dance floor, when suddenly a girl jumped in front of us, squeezing him."Geeeeorgeeyy!" What the- "Omg, look at you!" She eyed him. "He-hello." George's eyes were bigger than the Empire State Building.
"And who is this?" She looked over at me. I wasn't sure what to say or to do. "This is Jazmyn, my girlfriend." George chuckled. "Nice meeting you." I said. "Yeah same for you, I am Megan, George's Ex." Oh.

After the brute interrupt from George's Ex, we settled down at a table and she actually was pretty cool. I think I was just the fact that they dated that scared me off. They were in school together and they started dating then. "So how did you two met?" She asked me with a bright smile. George was at the bar, ordering our drinks and I had no idea where the others were. "Euhm-we met in LA, we were on vacation and we stayed in the same hotel." I explained. "Oh that's cool." She was genuinely interested. George came back with our drinks and sat down next to me. "So how are you George?" She asked him. "I am good, really good." He looked over at me.

A few, wait no, many drinks later, we were giggling and laughing. Josh and JJ had joined us. I was so wasted that I laughed with everything they said. Josh was telling a joke and I almost had to pee from laughter, so I went to the bathroom. 
I came back a few minutes later and when I caught side of our table, my heart shattered in thousands pieces.

George was kissing Megan.

He was kissing her.
