Chapter 46
9 months later
"You look amazing!" I screeched and Lauren laughed. "You shouldn't speak! When George sees you like this he will drop down on one knee and propose to you too." She said and I laughed. "Well too bad that's not going to happen." I shrugged and she rolled her eyes. "I still don't understand why you don't believe in marriage. You two are honestly made for each other." She groaned but before I could answer, my mom walked in. "Lauren! You look absolutely stunning!" My mom gasped and she laughed. "I can't wait to see Jazz like that." She said and I groaned. "Seriously? You too? I'm out." I said and just as I wanted to walk out Mr Peters-Lauren's dad-came in and told us it was time. Here we go.
The ceremony was beautiful and I loved how they kept it light and funny. The look on my brother's face when he saw Lauren was amazing. It's every girls dream to be looked at someone like that and I guess I found a guy like that too. "It was beautiful, wasn't it." George whispered in my ear and I turned go glare at him. "Don't even think about it." I snapped and he laughed. "Don't worry, I have everything I want and need. Marrying you would just be a big bonus." He said and I smiled. He was right. We had everything and soon a little baby to complete our family. More than soon actually. It could happen any moment now.
When I said that the ceremony was beautiful, I absolutely had no idea what the after party would bring. It was honestly a blast. Everything was decorated so nicely and it honestly brought you at peace but that didn't stop hundreds of people from dancing. I wanted to dance too but my enormous stomach prevented that. I couldn't even stand properly never mind go dancing. George stayed with me the whole night and no matter how cute that was, I wanted him to have fun.
Soon the speeches began but I couldn't concentrate to what they were say. The pain in my stomach was unbearable. I've been having this pains for about a week now but they were never like this. Usually it would be the baby kicking but this, this was way worse. I tried to control by breathing and a whimper left my mouth. Suddenly I felt something wet in between my legs. This seriously couldn't be happening right now! "Jazz did you just pee?" George whispered in my ear and I glared at him. "No idiot! The baby is coming!" I screeched and his face paled. "Shit!" He cursed and frantically looked around. "I'm going to find your mom and brother." He said and with that he was gone.
I tried to stay silent but that was rather hard so I was glad when my mom, brother and Lauren showed up. "Mom it hurts!" I gasped and she rubbed my back. "I know honey. Luke, George and I will be going to the hospital. Don't worry okay. Enjoy your party and you can come over once this is over okay? Come on Jazz." My mom said and helped me up. Here we go.
I've never felt anything like this. But that was immediately forgotten when I held my son in my arms. He was precious. A knock on the door interrupted me from my thoughts. "Hey sis." My brother said and I gave him a smile. "Can I see him?" He asked and I nodded. George handed him over to Luke and a smile broke over his face. "You did a great job, George." He said and my mouth dropped. He did a great job? "Err excuse me but he wasn't the one in pain right?" I scoffed and he let out a laugh. "I'm sorry Jazz. Both of you did and amazing job." He corrected and Lauren let out a laugh.
"So when are you moving to New York?" Lauren asked and I shrugged. "Next year probably." I said and she smiled. I looked at my brother and saw how amazing he was and the adoration in his eyes. "He's pretty good with children, isn't he?" I asked and she smiled. "I hope he'll be as good with our child." She said and I nodded before my eyes widened in realization. "Are you pregnant?" I asked and she nodded. "But you have to keep quiet. We haven't told anyone." She said and I nodded.
"Lauren babe, we have to go." My brother said and kissed me goodbye. "Welcome to the family, Charlie." He said and gave him a tender kiss on the forehead. George grabbed my hand and gave in a squeeze and at that moment, I knew that I had everything. I couldn't be any happier.
