After Louis felt better, smooth Sarah swooped in
“Sarah, you and Lou?” I smiled
“Nah, I realised I don’t like him like that” Sarah looked sort of upset
“What? You loved him! You always stalked him and were so keen on meeting him. Now you’re good friends and your saying you don’t like him?” I was surprised
“Yeah well, you’re right. He is too good a friend to want to lose”
“You think so” I questioned
“Yeah. Plus, I know Eleanor wants him back just as much as he wants her”
“Sarah, why don’t you ask him to hang out or something? You don’t have to be boy friend and girl friend”
“That’s pretty smart actually. I think I might” She hugged me as she partied on.
It was almost 10. I know right, spending a whole day on a boat sounds boring but there was literally countless entertainment! We only booked the boat until 10pm so they had to embarrass me by the birthday cake. Everyone was singing! Friends, family and even fans but all I heard was the melodious voice of Harry Styles. I cut the cake and ‘by mistake’ the knife came out dirty so I had to kiss the closest boy which happened to be the one with his arms around me anyway.
It was pretty awkward with everyone videoing and taking photos
“I’ll send this to Bell and Mac hey?” Lu showed me a picture of me and Harry on his phone
“Already sent” Aunty Jo pointed at her phone.
The DJ of the night played one last song which happened to be my most favourite song of all time. Fall for you by Secondhand Serenade
“Will you dance with me” Harry held my hands. How could I resist his perfection
“It’s my birthday wish” I smiled feeling like I was floating
“Happy Birthday beautiful” He’d said for the hundredth time of the night but every time he said it I fell in love with him again and again.
We slow danced the whole song. I felt like I was dreaming. It was the perfect fairytale setting. We were on a boat in the clear lake of London, on my birthday, twinkling pink lights hung above us, slow music playing, people dancing and my Prince Charming danced with me as he whispered
