“Good morning London, it’s another fine Monday morning here 6.00am.” My alarm clock radio turned on
“The top gossip today is One Direction’s birthday bash they held for Louis Tomlinson’s cousin the gorgeous Caitlin Alexander. How lucky is this teenager!” By now I’d gotten used to the fact that if I turned on the radio they might be talking about me. They might be saying my name. They might be all hate on me. I didn’t care though. Everyone gets it where ever they go.
Going down stairs, most of the adults went to work, grandpa went to help out with charity and nana went to her craft club. The kids were at school and play group and Lu went to ‘work’. I loved this new life! I was excited about everything like school, coming home, meeting new people, starting a new life for myself.
I walked to school with my IPod in my ears listening to ‘fall for you’ over and over again, thinking about last night. One word to describe it would be magic.
First period I had Screen Drama Class. Our assessment for the term in either Theater drama or Screen Drama was to audition for the school play or school short film. I picked the short film which ironically was Twilight. (I’m badly obsessed). We had to audition on short notice in class that day. I was crazy for the part of Rosalie Cullen because she’s a deep character. I auditioned the scene mostly from memory of when the Cullen’s were being introduced to Isabella Swan by Edward and Rosalie looses it and complains about how she doesn’t want Bella being a part of the family. I thought the audition went well and he said he’d post the cast on the notice bored later in the afternoon.
Next period was maths. I’m more than likely certain that I’d fallen asleep. We’d been doing trigonometry and my brain wasn’t in the mood. I’m not that good with school work like Maths, English and Science.
I only had three periods today which ended in Pop Singing. My teacher was so nice and she had an amazing voice herself. Our class assessment for the day was to sing a song that made us smile. Miss wanted me to go first to shake the nerves but I wasn’t nervous at all. I easily picked the acoustic version of forever young. I played piano to that song so miss made me use it...
Jessica’s POV
I was pretty annoyed at how Miss let Caitlin sing first. I always sung first. ALWAYS! She thinks she’s so cool because her cousin’s Louis Tomlinson. I couldn’t wait to hear her fail big time. Everyone compares her to Louis but now they won’t because they’ll feel sorry for her.
Caitlin’s POV
I sat on the piano as Miss counted me in. I thought “Find your world Caitlin and they hopefully won’t compare you to Lu”. I started playing as my fingers moved up and down the piano. I closed my eyes and sang.
Jessica’s POV
I looked at everyone’s faces in the room, their mouths were wide open and so was mine.
Let's dance in style, Let's dance for a while, Heaven can wait we're only watching the skies,
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst, Are you gonna drop the bomb or not?
Let us die young or let us live forever, We don't have the power but we never say never,
Sitting in a sandpit, Life is a short trip, The music's for the sad man.
Forever young, I wanna be, Forever young, Do you really want to live forever, Forever, Forever young.
Her voice was soft but strong, musical but lyrical, she was talented but perfect. Her hands looked like they were sliding across the piano as her voice went in perfect time. She was defiantly Louis’ cousin. They were so alike.
Caitlin’s POV
I stopped after the chorus. Everyone looked like they were in shock before they started clapping crazily. Miss asked to see me after class. That freaked me out.
