✨COMPLETED✨
I took a few steps before I stopped to face him again.
"Jay?" I said, barely above a whisper.
"Hmm?"
"I love you. You know that right?" I asked, kind of unsure.
"of course. Of course I do." He said, scrunching his eyebrows as if he doesn...
Since we're all starting to love Jace, here's a little backstory as to why he became like that.
He was always the new kid, always moving around He stayed at the back of the class, never making a sound He has 2 older brothers, and an older sister as well He's basically the spoiled one, in case you couldn't tell
At home his daddy got him everything he asked for But at school, well, he had to work a little more People were meaner , they never let him in To the point where he thought that speaking up was a sin
He was always alone, he was always left out They were always laughing, but he didn't know what about Until one day he discovered that he was the subject of their joke He started crying, just a kid, but his heart really broke
All through elementary, he always felt like the outcast The reputation of this loner, spread far and too fast The story of the kid who had no one to call a friend They thought these rumours were the beginning of his end
When high school rolled around, appeared a new Jace Not the needy clingy boy, who would sulk around the place This new boy, was cruel, vicious, and mean He was the worst they've ever seen
Not a day goes by, that someone doesn't fall prey Stay away from him' he'll hurt you, they say At first it started normal, like any amateur Then he got worse and better in a blur
Then one day, it was announced that a new student came If he made her a friend, nothing would be the same He would quit all the pranks and be a normal boy He'd stop playing with people as if they're his toy
But the new girl made friends, and shattered his hopes Took his dreams and hung them by several different ropes He didn't know what to think; didn't know what to do But ever since that day, she'll be his victim too!
Despite all the pranks, he was still empty inside His smile was a façade of the loneliness he tried to hide He tried to quit the pranks and be normal again He might actually have friends; but ONLY THEN
When a prank gone wrong sent the new girl away He was scared and terrified and didn't know what to say He promised himself that the day she's back to school Would be the day he cut it out; being a dang fool
When she showed up one day, looking beautiful as ever He decided this is it, it's now or never He was going to be good, he would try to win a friend And that was the day all his pranks came to an end
Not only did he gain a friend, but a whole group too! He was ecstatic; it was too good to be true! He was finally home; the place where he'll belong It was as if life is finally playing his song!
He looked around and in his mind he thought He was no longer the boy that time forgot
