Keira emerged from her small Turquiose Fiat.
It felt like years had gone by since she'd been here, yet everything seemed the same like time had suddenly just stopped.
Then again, thats what grief does to your mind, it makes everything seem the same, that nothing or no one has been lost.

A ghost town, that was the only way to describe the dismal place. The streets were hauntingly empty. The town and its surroundings deathly quiet almost like the animals that lived around it had abandoned it as well.
Keira pulled out her suitcase from the trunk of her car.  Finding herself she made her way along the drive way towards the house, her grandmothers house had been there since the the 80s. It was old but in fairly good condition.
Keira turned her attention to the brightly teal coloured door. Putting down her pale mint suitcase she knocked.
she did love the house, however she was afraid it would fall down with one touch.
The door opened with a few mild creaks, "hey Keira, your finally here, how was the drive?", "it was good, long, but worth it, Aunt Morgan I-" "just Morgan I keep telling you Keira" she interrupted, "Morgan, who's that?" she asked.
There was a pause, then "thats Allister, you do remember him right?, you too were inseparable once" she smiled as if remembering something they didn't.
"Hey" Alister smiled and waved, Keira found herself staring.
Keira did in fact remember Alister, but the last time she had seen him he wasn't in a wheel chair. "yeah I know, I got great wheels" he laughed, she smiled warmly although not exactly sure what to say.

"what happened?" Keira looked at him as if he was a wounded puppy, "well you know my brothers and I love to horse ride right?, I was riding and I had an accident" he replied, "I'm sorry, I honestly had no clue, it's been that long" Keira stared away, unsure of what to say.
"It's fine Keir, It may have been a long time since we've seen each other but, in that time, you sure grew up to be gorgeous" he said, God he was smooth, she awkwardly cleared her throat, smiled and turned away flustered.
"I should leave you, so you can get settled in" he sighed, like he wasn't ready to leave just yet, "see you around", he waved as he wheeled out the door.
"could you help him down the stairs?" Morgan asked, "sure" Keira replied, but when she got out Allister was already gone, "hey Morgan?", "yeah?", "Alister's-" but when Keira turned, Morgan wasn't in there, she seemed to have also disappeared.

This place was a whole lot weirder then Keira remembered.
