Lupin wasn't always the way he was, at least thats what he told himself, he was young and stupid, he had done many stupid things, but this topped them all, he may have just screwed everything up, now he lay awaiting Zephyr to burst in on him and start yelling, but it never came, he lay for hours, uneasy quietness, made him get up and look out his window, he saw Keira sitting alone in the garden, it appeared she was sad, maybe she hadn't spoken to Zephyr about what happened, Keira seemed to be reading something, a book, eh, "I never did learn to read, bloody hell, I wonder what its like" Keira looked towards him, "shit" he muttered, their eyes met, Keira, stayed silent but her eye's darted away before she ran out of view. he lent his arm on the frame of the window placing his forehead on it, he had been depressed for awhile now but he tried to play it off to his friends, what he knew was that he would be the next heir, well after is sister since she's technically older, even so his biggest fear and deepest doubt was to rule at all, he doubted himself, and all his decision's along with the aspect of independence as well as being a king, was daunting at the most, he sighed, he decided since it was night and he had only been up for awhile that he would go and speak with Andesite, he planned on using the mirror to contact her but he soon realized it wouldn't matter, Mirror's In the Fae's land were destroyed many years ago to stop prying dragon eyes from watching innocent Faerie's with them.

All he wanted was to talk to her, to know she was ok, all he wanted was to be there with her, by her side, never to let go or leave, he wanted her. Lupin let himself cry, he screamed at the pain, it was burning him, Dragon's tear's burn like acid, that is why you never see one cry, for they have learnt to hold it in so they never feel the pain or letting them fall lose down their cheeks, Lupin hasn't learnt how to hold it in, he never did, he thought of his mother let more tears fall, screaming, at the ever growing pain, in the end he had burned lines down his cheeks, it didn't bother him as much as it should have, he'd looked worse in his opinion, he walked out of his chambers, he needed something to drink, "Master Lupin, I must ask you not to come into-" the servant he'd never met before but had seen stopped in his tracks, "y-your face, master Lupin may I be of some help, I know little healing magic, but I shall wake the nurse at once" "don't bother, none of you know any bloody dragon magic" Lupin sighed, "get me a drink of wine" "of course sir, as you wish, shall I bring it to your chamber's?" "nah, I'd rather sit in the kitchen, bring me an entire bottle, no glass" "if you have no glass sir then how do you intent to....oh, shall I fetch a straw?" "yes.......No! I need not of a straw, bloody hell, just a bottle of fine wine" "of course sir" the Servant flew away, he returned momentarily, "your wine sir" "thanks ah.....what's your bloody name?" "Atticus, sir, Atticus Bartholomew" "well when I become erm a ruler, you will be my head adviser and servant" "why thank you it would be the greatest honor" Atticus left, leaving Lupin, 30 bottles of Faerie wine and an empty sitting room, Lupin wasn't going anywhere.

Lupin sat swishing a cup of wine around in his palm, he took a sip then returned to the same position of swinging the wine around in the cup, his ring glinted in the moonlight, he hated, being nocturnal, he wished he was ordinary like everyone else, he also wished his dragon scales didn't show on his human form, he thought until Andesite, he was ugly and undesirable, then he fell in love with the Faerie princess, something thought forbidden for many centuries, even in saying his mother was a Faerie, she died in birth of her twins, his father blamed him for it, yet, in all honesty, no one was at fault.

many hours had past Lupin sat wearing his Dragon steel armor, everyone else was up and prepared, he could have sworn, Destrey and Aeden came from the same room, but he ignored it, Keira came down, strangely she wasn't in any armour, "will you not fight?" he asked her, "no, I'm not aloud, Zephyr ordered me to stay away" she said this looking at lupin, he understood what she meant, she wasn't listening that easy, "Al, promise me you'll come back" "I promise" they kissed Lupin turned to his sister, "Promise me you'll come back to me, I can't do this without you" "I promise Lupin, you don't have to worry about me" she ran out into the gardens to transform, Aeden climbed onto her back, Volant! Volant!" Aeden left, Lupin transformed and awaited Zephyr to get on his back, he sat on Lupin, who was right by the door, Keira held his hands, Lupin began to fly, their grip slipped and eventually broke, he was gone, Keira decided that she couldn't just wait, she went to walk beyond the stairs, something stopped her, it was like a barrier, one she couldn't see, she tried flying, but she couldn't it was as if this barrier was draining her power, in weakness she gripped the railing of the stairs, she tried walking inside, but fell onto her knee's she tried crawling but her strength alluded her, she collapsed, darkness engulfed her vision.

"Land here, Lupin" "are you out of your mind, do you have any idea how close we are to the dragon empire?" "the warriors are here, the eve's are to meet us this is the spot now as your king I order you to land!, sorry, I'm stressed" "I know" he landed, Destrey was already there, Aeden was practicing her staff skills, she stared at Zephyr, then turned away, Silas stood by watching and calculating every individual movement and work spoken.

Keira lay unconscious on the stairs of the palace, she was as cold as death, her skin pale, but yet still even in that state she was in, she was so full of live, her beauty never alludes her, Aeden stood, now realising what had happened, reading the mind of Keira, reliving the events Keira had just been through, she wanted to go to her, but they were in the middle of Dragon attacks and they were air born.

"Take cover, we'll handle this" Destrey yelled as her and Lupin took to the sky, Dragon's in their human form took to the ground, using their fire, and flips dodging attacks, Lupin saw one Dragon he was hoping to Avoid, his older half brother Anguis, he stood along side his father Avian, of course they would never fight their own battles standing in their human form's Lupin was close to attacking then he realized how unwise that would be.

he landed where destrey was fighting alongside Aeden in her human form, clashing swords, Lupin transformed and with duel blades, ran into battle, Aeden stood breathing heavily, she slumped a bit, "Aeden, you can not continue like this" "I'm fine" she slammed her staff down, knocking Avian's solder's flying, Aeden turned to fight a solider who tried to attack her from behind, she attacked him, sending him flying, "Aeden! move!" a soilder drew his sword, and with a glint the sword slabbed into the chest of the one standing there, Aeden turned to find Destrey standing directly behind her, she had given everything to protect her, Destrey fell to the ground, Aeden cradled her, "no! no! no! Destrey! No!" she screamed slamming her staff down, all the soilders around them fell dead, Lupin turned, the sadness and tragety in his eyes, made him fall to his knees he picked himself up and ran to her, "you said you'd never leave me!" he cried,

"Lupin, y-you can d-do this, you c-can fix e-everything Avian h-has done" "no, no, no Destrey, Destrey, no, you can't die, no, no, no, I love you, I love you ok, please d-don't leave me" Aeden cradled her dead body before letting Destreys body drop, she picked up her staff and headed towards the dragon castle, "Aeden! you can't go in there, just the air will burn you!" Zephyr yelled, Lupin stayed in shock tears burning his cheeks causing his screaming pain looking at his dead sisters body, "I'm half elf, the heat doesn't bother me" her monotoned voice made her mind up, she walked up the steps to Lupin ran behind with his duel blades, he was going to kill his father, no matter the cost, "leave Avian to me" he ordered, "I wasn't going for the king, she slowly walked behind him, when she reached the top, she turned from the King to face Anguis, she slammed down her staff, he went flying, but remained positive he would win, getting up with blades and running for her again, she slammed her staff once more sending him flying back, Lupin walked towards his father, "I challenge you for the crown" he said deep resentment in his voice. "you don't have it in you" Lupin launched at his slicing his cheek, "fight or die" Lupin yelled his father got up, he towered over Lupin, they stood, their fight began the only audience a worried Zephyr, his surviving warriors the elve's who came to their aid, and the watchful eyes of Silas.

Zephyr watched their swords and fish clash they moved out of view, he hear the deafening stab of a dragon blade go into a body before it was pulled out and the body slowly slumped to the ground, Lupin went to walk away, "you'll never rule successfully" his father realized his grip and with it his life, Lupin walked foward dropping his swords and walking down to Zephyr, "long live the king!" Lupin stopped listening to all those here who chanted for him, they believed in him, he walked to Zephyr, he whispered "we have to go, something's wrong with Keira, I heard my brother say something of her fate being death, the battle here is done we must go to her" he transformed into a dragon, Zephyr got on, he noticed a gold shimmer faint, but it was there, Lupin has always been the king. they flew back, Zephyr saw Keira he flew to her, but the barrier stopped him, "what the hell is this!" "it's Dragon magic, stand back" Lupin chanted some words, a small blue flame appearing in his interlocked palms, "she's dying lupin!" "I know bloody hell I'm doing my best!" he breathed onto the barrier blue fire burning it from its routes, Zephyr ran to Keira, "she's weak, barely a pulse, what do we do Lupin!" "bring her here, now" Zephyr did as he was told, "lay her on the ground" Zephyr lay her, Lupin once again chanted until the blue flame appeared with both hands he pushed it into her chest, her eye's shot open, and she let out her first breath.
