"well I'm glad she can finally rest" Morgan placed a hand on the grave, no doubt saying an Irish blessing in her head, "So am I" Keira presses her fingers to her lips then to the stone.
"hey, are you okay?" Alister wheeled towards the two.
Keira smiled and looked at the sky, "yeah we're fine" , her smile was a sad one.
"If you ever need to talk-" "I know, thank you Alister" He smiled a boyish smile, Keira returned it.
Then her smile dropped, "I feel guilty for not being here when she was at her worst" Alister's face softened with remorse, "I know, you don't have to carry that burden with you Keir, she loved you so much".
After talking for what seemed like hours, Keira agreed to meet with Alister later, to informally spend time together.

Keira walked down the path to a stoic Alister, now changed into much more comfortable clothes, much like herself.
"So I thought we could camp out? The woods are beautiful this time of year" Keira sighed, "you know we aren't supposed to go into the woods after dark, I don't know about you but I don't want my face on the back of milk carton." Alister laughed, "Keir, your too old for a milk carton."
They follow the trail before going slightly off, then to a clearing, a clearing Keira recognised.

The short acorn tree, the tall oak in the centre, the strange circle of mushrooms that seemed to be dead in the centre but not around the edges, it had been there as long as she remembered, "I thought that thing" Keira gestured to the circle, "would have died off already" Alister seemed humoured by this, "that "thing" is called a Nefelibata, it's Portuguese, it translates to "cloud walker" they say on the other side exists a world of faeries" , Keira burst into laughter, "okay you totally made that up."

After setting up a tent for the first time and watching Alister make and light a fire, the chair annoyed and upset him, she could tell, "I can do that if you want?" He seemed to busy concentrating to acknowledge her question. "Could you hand me the Pot?" Keira turned, she picked up a medium sized camping soup pot, Alister seemed to know how to do this rather well.
"Dad used to take us camping before he passed." Keira looked at Alister now tipping a tin of what appeared to be Keira's favourite soup into the pot, "I'm sorry, I had no idea he passed" Alister smiled, "it's okay it was years ago" Keira sat down next to him, he draped a blanket around her shoulders and gave her a hot metal mug of hot cocoa.
They sat together talking about life, Keira pointed out the above constellations and planets, Alister looked through Keira's sketch book and she looked through his before realising how late it was getting and decided to try and sleep.

Keira was asleep, until the a noise which she assumed came from a nearby owl, startled her awake, she had tried sleeping again but nothing worked, she was wide awake and Alister was fast asleep. Keira decided going for a short walk might help her relax, so being careful not to wake the sleeping boy next to her, she exited the tent.
Keira stretched and checked her phone, her city friends had been partying and were most likely drunk since they had sent her memes that were really not funny.

It was also 3am.

Keira walked for a bit, it was dark and hard to see so she stumbled a few times, then she tripped, but never hit the ground.

Keira had entered the ring.
