I woke up and I was sweating
"Caroline... are you alright?" Klaus asked me and I looked at him
"I- I'm... I'm not sure..." I said out of breath like I just finished running miles upon miles
"You know what... I'll just go and wash myself in the river" I added
"Are you sure that's the best idea... I mean I know none of us has use a shower in days but... the river ... it must be cold and you are a woman"
"Yes but I'm a survivor too and a very sweaty one so I'll take my risks" I said and he chuckled
"Fair enough... I'll come with you" He said
"Huh. No way... "
"And may I ask why not?" He said
"Because if you didn't get it I'm going to the river... to wash myself... why the hell would I take you with me" I explained
"Oh come on it's not like I haven't seen a naked girl before and beside that... I'm only coming so I can look after you... I'm not gonna be with you when you are... showering. We don't want something to happen to you right " he said with a smile
"Agh.... whatever..." I said and grabbed some clothes to wear later
"I think you'll need that" he said and gave me a towel
"Indeed" I took it and we left the aeroplane
"So... are you ok... I mean you were pretty... you know... you were acting weird when you woke up" he said
"I'm fine, now go because here we are and I have to take this sweat out of my body" I said
"Right... I'll be right there, just.. yeah..." He said and turned towards the tree he pointed
"Right" I went at the edge of the river and put down my clothes and the towel
I took a look around and I saw Klaus sitting under a tree with his eyes closed
Good
I got naked quickly and with a quick motion I jumped into the river
It was kind of warm really... weird I know but it was...
I stayed in the river for five minutes before I decided it was time to get out
I grabbed the towel really quickly and covered myself
I saw Klaus was still sitting with his eyes closed like he hadn't move at all. The strange thing is that I have a feeling that he has moved
I put on my clothes and as I was about to turn towards Klaus, I heard something
It was like a whisper... it was from the other side of the river... I stopped moving trying to concentrate to the sound but I heard nothing
"It must be my illusion" I said to... myself
"Love, are you ready?" Klaus said from behind me
"Damon and the others might wonder were we are and I have to admit I might die from hunger" he said and I laughed
"Yeah you're right" I said and he smiled
"Nice laugh you got there" he smirked
"Just keep walking" I rolled my eyes and he raised his hands in surrender
"Sorry for trying to be nice" he smirked and put his hand on my back
"Guys there you are" Ian said
"Where the hell have you been?" Violet asked
"Please Violet let me handle this" Damon said and turned towards us
"Where the hell have you been?" He said in the same tone and Violet rolled her eyes
"Seriously?" She asked
"Damon... relax my friend. Your sister over there wanted to go for a swim and I couldn't leave her by herself, now could I? so I accompany her so I could keep an eye on her" Klaus explained and I rolled my eyes
"Why did you want to go for a swim?" Raymond asked
"Car, are you ok?" Damon said with a worried look
"I'm alright, I just needed a bath"
"Well next time leave at least a note behind" Alicia said
"That would be could" Connor exclaimed
"I mean we thought you went... I don't know but with what happened yesterday, waking up to see you were gone didn't make it better... in fact it made us really anxious and worried" he said
"I'm sorry guys.. but I really am fine.." I said and walked towards the plane
"Caroline" Violet yelled but I just continued walking
