I went inside the plane quickly. I was angry at Damon, Violet, Klaus, everyone... I was angry and I didn't know what to do
But I was sure for one damn thing
I'm not gonna stay here in the plane and wait for someone to just come here and try to talk some sense to me like everyone used to say
I want to go... in the woods but not these woods... I want to go to the other side of the river
This whisper really captured my interest
I have absolutely no idea what it was and I don't like to be in the dark about anything really
And you know what. No one here is in charge to tell me what to do and what not to do so...
I grabbed my bag and put a slice of bread inside that I found in the kitchen. I make sure I had my notebook and my pencil inside and went to the door
Damon and the others were exactly where I left them, talking, probably about me
Good... I ran outside quickly and went behind the plane. I grabbed a knife and then went into the woods
When I found the river I walked along it until I finally found the bridge
"Here we are" I said to myself
I put my foot to the bridge slowly and then started walking towards the other side
When I left the bridge I felt kind of weird. Like some strange things are about to happen
What if some animal is here and it's getting ready to kill me
Ughh no I am not thinking like that. Happy thoughts
I started walking inside the forest when I heard a sound
It was something from around me... I couldn't know for sure if it was an animal or something else but I was praying for the best
I continued walking further into the woods when I heard the same sound I have heard earlier in the morning, only now it was coming from somewhere near me
"Oh my god tell me it's not what I think it is" I murmured to myself... again...
"Shhhhh...." the sound was coming closer and closer
Oh god why did I came here alone with just a knife
I grabbed the knife from my bag and looked around
"Hello... anybody here" I yelled... not really expecting an answer
"Shhh"
The sound was coming from behind me and guess what I did....
Yep you guessed right. I turned around.
And there was a snake.
It had dark colours and let's say it wasn't a small one... for sure

I didn't know what to do but moving it was absolutely not the option. I stood still and so did the snake
At least for the first couple of minutes Then the snake started to make circles around me but at least it didn't touch me
Oh thank god
I'm not the kind of person to scream when I'm afraid. In my family I'm the only one who can keep my composure and I'm very thankful for it
But let's say that because I'm really cool on the outside doesn't mean I'm not screaming on the inside
The weird thing is that the snake didn't do anything. It didn't even make a move to touch me
On the contrary it was like he smelled my fear and just decided not to kill me. Weird right?
But fortunately for me the snake decided to leave without laying a ... finger?... to me
Well anyway he passed right next to me and it was absolutely creepy but I can live with it
"Umm... thanks I guess" I said and the snake disappeared inside the greens
I stood still for some seconds in order to make sure the snake wasn't coming back and to calm down
Ok time to go back to the aeroplane
I left and started to run towards the plane
"Car" a voice yelled and I turned my head to the left
"Caroline are you alright?" Natalie asked me
"Yes Nat I'm alright thanks for asking" I smiled to her
"Caroline please be careful... they need you... Damon needs you" she said
"What do you mean Natalie were they asking for me?"
"You know that's not what I mean... you are one of the leaders everyone here expect from you to save us" she said
"We do whatever we can" I said and she looked me with a hurt look
"Car... please don't do something you are gonna regret... everyone here has lost their family. You are the only hope left for Damon please... don't do anything stupid" she whispered and my eyes widen
