"How was your night, Luna?" LillyAnn placed a bowl of oatmeal. LillyAnn made the best oatmeal, I swear. I asked for it every single morning.

"It was nice, Cole slept the whole night." I picked my spoon up. "Thank you for breakfast."

"You are very welcome, Luna."

I moaned as I began to eat my breakfast.

"You didn't even make that much noise last night."

I choked on my oatmeal.

"Alpha!" LillyAnn giggled loudly.

"Jess!" I embarrassedly scolded the Alpha after getting a drink of my milk. My cheeks were a bright, bright shade of red. "She doesn't have to know about that."

"It is fine, Luna. I know my food is best." LillyAnn was smug about that.

Jess hummed and sat beside me, grabbing the second spoon and dipped it in my bowl of oatmeal. "Have you fed Cole?"

I shook my head 'no' and brought my glass of milk up to my lips again. "Not yet. He didn't want to eat when I tried."

Jess scooped up a bit of my oatmeal onto the spoon and brought it to Cole's mouth. He even made little 'zoom' noises. My heart nearly burst at the extreme amounts of adorableness that I was witnessing.

Cole babbled, trying his very best to talk, to Jess as the man attempted to put most of the food inside of Cole's mouth and not on his shirt, face, hair, and hands.

"Can you say 'Alpha'?" Jess asked as he dipped the spoon in my bowl of oatmeal again. "Alpha."

I rolled my eyes fondly at the man before scooping up some oatmeal for myself.

"Al-pha," he slowly pronounced.

Cole just babbled.

"Everyone knows that he's going to say 'momma' first, Jess." I put my oatmeal in my mouth.

Jess turned and looked at me. "No, he will not," he strongly protested. "He will either say 'Alpha' or 'father' first."

Smiling, I shook my head. "No, it will be 'momma'."

Jess wanted Cole to call him 'father' and I loved it. I was told by one of the staff members in the pack house that the likelihood of my son being accepted by my mate, since he wasn't Jess's child, would be basically nonexistent.

But, here he was, my mate wanting my son to call him 'father'.

"You both are wrong."

I looked up at the voice. A smiling LillyAnn placed a plate of eggs and bacon with toast down in front of Jess.

"Well, what will he say?" I raised my eyebrow at the older woman, a smile gracing my face.

"LillyAnn," she spoke with more confidence than Jess did.

"No offense, LillyAnn," Jess began, looking up at her, "but that is not going to happen."

"It did with you!" LillyAnn argued.

I took a bite of Jess's bacon.

"But I am not Cole! Cole will have us both in his life, a lot more than I had my parents."

I internally awed at Jess's words.

I didn't think that I would be able to truly find someone who wanted to be Cole's father and parent along with me. But I did.

Jess had mistakenly mated and marked me.

I chose to stay with this man because I would do anything for my son.

I most definitely did not expect to fall in love with this werewolf.

"He will still say my name first!" I had missed the rest of their little argument due to my little daydreaming.

"LillyAnn, no need to leave!" I laughed as the older Colombian woman began to stomp out of the kitchen. "We don't know what his first word will be. My first word was 'go', so..." I tried to calm the funny, yet intense, situation down some.

Jess sighed, putting the spoon with some oatmeal on Cole's lips to get him to open up again. But, Cole was finished eating and hit the spoon.

LillyAnn, Cole, and I all laughed loudly when Jess's eyes widened, the oatmeal that was previously on the spoon was now on his face.

"I think Mister Cole is finished." LillyAnn came back to the table and picked Cole up. "I will clean you and change you while your momma and father eat their breakfast and go do their work."

I let out a loud, long groan as Jess wiped his face free of oatmeal. "I don't wanna work," I complained.

I was lucky enough to not have to do anything for the month and a half we were here, but now, I was expected to learn the ropes of being the pack's Luna. I've been 'shadowing' Jess for the past few days.

"Too bad," Jess mocked my complaining. "You are this pack's Luna and you are my mate. That is the only reason why I haven't gotten mad at you when you steal my bacon instead of asking for the cooks to make you some." Jess pointed his spoon at me.

I blushed and rolled my eyes. "You weren't eating it," I mumbled, leaning closer to my mate so I could rest my head on his shoulder. "And you always either eat my oatmeal or feed it to Cole."

I didn't mind either, I would gladly give my son the last ounce of food that I had. And Jess, well I ate his food, so I guess that I didn't mind him eating mine.

Jess popped a piece of bacon in his mouth.

"What all am I doing today?"

"Just paper work today. Not much has happened within the pack. Although, you do have a luncheon tomorrow." Jess shovelled a spoonful of eggs in his mouth.

"Without you?" I sighed when Jess nodded, his mouth still full of eggs.

I wasn't able to get to know a lot of the pack members, but the members that I have gotten to know seemed very nice. They might have just been nice to me because of my mate and my status.

I've seen warriors shake in fear of their Alpha. Poor Sanders was put in the worse fighting match of his life,. I felt really bad for them.

Maybe it is best to go without Jess there to intimidate the crap out of everyone.
