"Oh. My. Gosh. You. Are. So. CUTE!!" I squealed when I saw Jess shift into his wolf. This was the first time seeing him like this and he was the cutest wolf ever!
By the look of the wolfy glare that I was receiving, I could tell that Jess didn't enjoy being called 'cute', nor did he enjoy the snickers from the training warriors.
Jess's wolf was completely, totally, one hundred percent as white as snow with the prettiest icy blue eyes that I have ever seen. The wolf stood about five and a half feet tall on all fours. And he was so cute! I couldn't get over the massive amounts of cuteness.
Jess huffed before nosing me in the neck and then lifting his head so he could lick my neck and face with his massive tongue. I wrapped my arms around the Alpha's neck as the rest of his warriors shifted into their wolves.
"White suits you," I whispered. "It's cute."
Jess huffed and sneezed on my neck. Gross. He then maneuvered out of my loose hold and went over to the other wolves before attacking one of them, causing me to scream out in fear. I was afraid that Jess was going to kill the other, smaller wolf.
But apparently, that was a perfectly normal and okay thing to do. The other wolf fought back with all of their might while the other wolves watched, forming somewhat of a circle around the two. I watched from a distance as the two wolves snarled and bore their teeth at each other.
It was hard for me to watch, I was never a big fan of any sort of violence, but I couldn't seem to take my eyes off of the man I was going to happily spend the rest of my life with. He fought with grace and confidence. He looked so powerful, crouching down and fighting. Jess knew what he was doing and he was doing it very well.
Jess ended up having the smaller wolf pinned down and he had his teeth latched on the other wolf's neck.
"Jess! Stop!" I screamed. Jess was going to kill that wolf! I couldn't let that happen, that wolf didn't deserve to die!
Jess lifted his head from the neck of the losing wolf and looked up at me. When he did that, the smaller wolf pushed Jess off of him and tackled Jess to the ground, pinning him down with his front paws and growling in Jess's face.
I was terrified.
One of the bigger wolves shifted, it was Christopher.
"Stop them! Christopher! Stop them!" I shouted, tears filling my eyes quicker than I would have liked, as I pointed towards Jess and the other wolf. Jess had managed to kick the attacking wolf off of him and he stood, growling at the wolf.
"They are okay, Luna, they are okay!" Christopher ran towards me, standing in front of me so that I wouldn't see what was going on.
"No! They aren't! Why aren't you stopping this?!" I was angry, blinded by Christopher's body, my tears, and anger. "Please stop this."
Christopher wrapped his arms around me and gently pushed my crying, tear covered face into his naked, muscular chest. "They are okay." Christopher pet my hair as he spoke.
I didn't believe him, though. There was no way that Jess and that other wolf were okay.
I don't know how long I stayed in Christopher's hold, crying into his chest, but it was a long time. So long that Jess had finished his training fight thing and it was beginning to get dark out.
"Anna..."
I was transferred from Christopher's hold and into Jess's. Jess was naked, but I didn't care. I pulled back from Jess's chest and grabbed his face so that I could examine him for injuries. He had none. But how? They were fighting so rough.
"Don't you ever do that to me again." My voice shook as I demanded the Alpha. "Ever."
"I'm sorry, my little mate. I didn't think that you would be frightened." Jess placed his hand on the back of my head and pushed my face into his chest before pressing a kiss to my head. "I will not let you see that again. We are all okay. I was just sparring with Lincoln." Jess pressed another kiss to my head.
"I thought that you were going to kill him," I mumbled against Jess's chest.
"I would never kill someone unless need be." Jess sealed his promise with another kiss to my head. "And I will do my best to never kill with you around."
I nodded as I held onto my mate. Seeing him almost possibly close to dying and killing someone else terrified me to death. I hated it so much.
But my mate was an Alpha. I knew that he would do what was needed for his family and his pack. And I would be there and support him as much as I could. I was the Luna for this pack. I had to be here and help protect my pack as best as I could.
"How is the baby?" Jess asked, changing the subject from the fighting to something that I was going to happily talk about.
"Good. My morning sickness is no where near as bad as it was with Cole." I kept my face pressed against Jess's chest, so my words were mumbled some.
"Well, you are almost a third of the way through your pregnancy."
That was a good and bad thing about being pregnant with an Alpha wolf's baby. Pregnancy was only about four months long. I wouldn't get as much one on one time with this baby as I did with Cole. But then again, I wouldn't be suffering for over a month like I did with Cole.
Speaking of Cole...
"I hope Cole likes the baby. He is a very jealous child."
Jess chuckled, rocking me from side to side in his arms. "I'm sure that he will love his little brother or sister."
"Alpha! We have a problem!"
Jess groaned. Our happy moment was officially ruined. Thank you, Stan.
"We are not Huston," Jess growled, looking over towards his Delta.
"But we are being attacked!"
