Two years, seven months, three weeks, four days.

Jess has been either missing or dead for two years, seven months, three weeks, and four days.

Of course Andrew and Christopher and some warriors as well. But Jess, my Jess. Two years, seven months, three weeks, and four days without him.

"Momma!" I looked over at JJ. "Look, momma!" The two year old held up a picture that he had colored as he smiled brightly.

He and his older brother were coloring pictures that I had drawn for them. I mainly drew Jess's wolf and eyes.

The boys loved to color pictures of wolves, they loved wolves. Stan was currently their favorite wolf to play on, not with but on. Sadly, he wasn't able to do much with the boys since he was the current Alpha.

"It's beautiful, baby." The picture was nowhere near perfectly colored. But JJ was two and Cole was three, so there was no way that their coloring would be perfect, much less mostly in the lines.

"Thanks! It daddy's!"

Cole told me as he shoved his picture in my face as well.

I gently took the pictures and sat it on the table. "I'll put it with the rest of the pictures for daddy," I promised.

Cole and JJ both smiled happily at that before they ran off to go color some more.

Jess sure was missing out with these two boys. Oddly enough, both of them were turning out to act just like Jess did when he was their age, according to Jessica and LillyAnn.

I miss him.

"JJ is looking more like Alpha Jess everyday." LillyAnn came into the room with a little plate of snacks. "JJ will be a good Alpha, just like his father."

I smiled a very tight smile. I hated talking about Jess, it just made me cry. And I was so tired of crying. I was so tired of it. So, I rarely spoke about my mate, unless it was with my children.

"You can't ignore talking about him, Luna." LillyAnn gave me one of those mom looks, you know, the ones that your mother gives you with her head tilted to the side and her eyebrow raised. Like the 'you better do as I say because I said so or else' looks.
