For those who wanted Force Ghost Ahsoka to tickle Ezra.
Ezra sat in the branches of a tall tree on Yavin, a firey sunset taking place. He had a clear view of the sun that was sinking below the horizon, a dramatic scene was taking place.
With a small smile, Ezra leant against the trunk of the tree, enjoying the gentle breeze that helped the birds swoop across the sky. Then something occured to him.
How long would things like this last?
The rebels were living in an Empire ridden galaxy full of bounty hunters and people who wanted to kill them.
They'd taken some hard losses and sacrifices.
Commander Sato, Mr Suma...
"Ahsoka" Ezra whispered, pain suddenly pulling at his heart.
Even now, nearly a year after the incident, Ezra felt sad about what happened on Malacore. Kanan, Hera, Sabine, Zeb, and Chopper had helped him through the pain, but he still felt it. With a heavy exhale, Ezra clenched a fist.
"Vader" he growled.
"I swear, one day, I'm gonna put my lightsaber through your worthless skull."
"You shouldn't have such violent thoughts."
Ezra nearly fell out of the tree. A Force ghost of Ahsoka was sitting on a branch above him.
"Ahsoka?! What? Where did you...?!"
Ezra was gazing up at the Togruta, mouth slightly agap with an eyelid twitching. The female Jedi chuckled and jumped down, landing on the branch Ezra was on.
Sitting down, she smiled at the boy who was staring at her.
"What? Did I blow your mind up?" Ahsoka teased.
"What? No. It's just, it's not everyday when a Force ghost of one of your friends just pops up from nowhere" Ezra told her.
Ahsoka chuckled again.
"True" she agreed.
"But I felt it was necessary to come, I could feel your pain, what's wrong?"
Ezra sighed.
"I'm just wondering how long the peace will be kept round here. Sometimes I wonder if the calmness on Yavin will just shatter one day."
Ahsoka looked at Ezra sympathetically.
"Don't think like that Ezra. You'll see a day will come when we never have to live in fear again."
"That sounds too good to be true" Ezra sighed.
"Well, it depends on what you want to believe."
A silence fell between the two Force wilders, the sun had sunk below the horizon and two stars had appeared in the sky. Ezra sighed contently and looked up at them, a small smile on his face.
"You know, I've always felt like my parents are the first two stars in the sky. They're reminding me that they're there and will always be watching over me."
Ahsoka noticed instantly how Ezra's tone of voice sounded. Peaceful, yet there was a note of yearning in his voice. She knew he missed his parents.
"And I also know that no matter what happens, they'll always be with me."
Ahsoka saw tears gathering in Ezra's eyes but he wiped them away on the back of his hand.
"I've always thought that there was an upside to death" Ezra said.
"Oh yeah? What's that?" Ahsoka asked.
"You'll be back with the ones you lost."
Ahsoka couldn't help but feel like that was true. She'd died and she reunited with some of her old friends that had been killed.
Looking back at Ezra, she saw he was silently crying as he gazed up at the two stars above. Her heart melted. This boy was clearly upset about all the lives lost during the battle against the Empire. Including her own death.
Unable to stand seeing Ezra in the state he was in, she concentrated and wiggled a few fingers. A look of confusion came across Ezra's face as he felt a soft sensation on his side. Looking at his midsection, he felt around for a bug or leaf of any kind. He then felt it again on his knees. Then remembering this experience in the past, Ezra immediately turned to Ahsoka.
"Ahsoka" he warned.
"Don't even think about it."
"Think about what? Doing this?"
The Togruta's Force tickles danced all over Ezra's stomach creating soft, fluttery sensations. Ezra gripped the branch tightly as he gritted his teeth. A grin was quite clear on his face as he refused to laugh.
"Come on Ez, you know you can't hold out for long" Ahsoka teased.
Ezra knew she was right, the occasional giggle was slipping from his lips as he tried to control himself. But he felt the sensations on his sensitive feet and lost all restraint.
"Ahsohohoka!" He cried out through his laughter.
He'd slipped down the trunk a bit and was scuffing his boots on the branch, trying to stop the tickly feeling.
"Ezra there's no way you can stop it unless I stop it" Ahsoka told him.
"Then stohohohop!"
"I don't like seeing my friends sad, besides, we haven't even gotten to your weak spot yet." 'Oh no' Ezra thought.
In about two seconds, Ezra felt the sensations in his armpits.
"Nohohohoho! Ahsohohoka!" Ezra laughed heartily.
"I'm serious! Cuhuhut it out!"
Ahsoka smiled softly as the boy giggled uncontrollably.
He squirmed on the branch, unable to go anywhere or do anything.
After a few more minutes, Ahsoka let off her attack. Ezra sat up, face tear streaked and a faint redness in his cheeks. He was panting and seemed a little weak.
"You good?" Ahsoka said shuffling closer to the Jedi and putting an arm around him.
"Yeah...fine...guess I needed a laugh" Ezra smiled.
The two gazed at the many stars above happily.
Peace would always be with those who believe in it.
