Back To The Orphanage

Ariana's POV
Yes, I did just say that.
"W-What..?" She says, below a whisper.
I'm completely emotionless right now.
"Pack your stuff." I say solidly.
She just stood there in pure shock.
"I SAID PACK YOUR STUFF!" I boom.
She flinches, then slowly goes to her room to pack her stuff.
I go and sit in the lounge.
So how's my life going to be without Amber?
I sure I can cope...right?
I mean, I'm sure I'm doing the right thing..
It's the best, for both of us.
Suddenly I hear loud bangs.
I turn around to see Amber pulling her suitcase down the stairs.
She looks everywhere but me.
"I'm ready." She whispers, avoiding eye contact.
I grab my car keys, and take her suitcase and put it in the car boot.
She gets in the backseat, this time I didn't tell her to come sit at the front.
I drove to the orphanage to see Amber slightly shaking.
I though couldn't let her go..
Now look what I'm doing now.
I parked up and got out. I opened the door for Amber.
I take her suitcase out the boot and hand it to her.
"Great back to this hell." She mumbles, I don't think I was supposed to hear that so I won't say anything.

I entered the orphanage and went up to the lady at the desk.
"Um..hi." I say getting her attention.
"Hello, is there anything you'd like?" She asks.
"Um..I'm here to bring back a child I adopted f-from here." I said, stuttering a bit, not actually believing what I'm doing right now.
I take a quick glance at Amber to see millions of tears running down her cheeks.
"Ok then, I'll and the child and you can go, but I need you to sign a few papers, so your no longer the guardian of the child, so you'll have no relation with her at all." She explains.
She had to put that at the end.
"Would like to come this way please? And Amber you sit on that chair there." She pointing to a chair in the corner.
Amber quietly slumps over to the chair.

I go into the room with the lady. She tells me to sit down, so I take a seat.
"Right, how long have you had Amber?" She asks.
"Around 3 weeks or more." I say quietly.
"Is there any reason you decided to return her?" She questions.
"Things w-were just getting complicated." Tears now coming down my face.
"Okay, could you just sign here, then you'll she'll be out of hands and you'll no long be Amber Rose Keys, official guardian." She says.
I take the pen she hands me and do my signature, it was very weak though.
"Thank you, I'll now bring Amber to say your goodbyes." She says.
I didn't say anything. I just sat there.
It's done..
It was the best for both of us, we just kept hurting each other, I felt like there was no stopping it other than this...
Amber's no longer mine...

A/N: I think cried a bit writing this, I was listening to My Everything as well so I was in my feels...lmao just another filler chapter xx
