Next day, 2:41p.m
I grabbed my headphones, and my phone, and sat on the made up bed. I scroll through spotify, and see one of my favorite songs. Infinity by One Direction. Quickly, I click on it, and it immediately plays. I turned the volume way up so I couldn't hear anything besides the music, and closed my eyes.
And now I'm one step closer to being two steps far from you
When everybody wants you
Everybody wants you
How many nights does it take to count the stars?
That's the time it would take to fix my heart
Oh, baby, I was there for you
All I ever wanted was the truth, yeah, yeah
How many nights have you wished someone would stay?
Lie awake only hoping they're OK
I never counted all of mine
If I tried, I know it would feel like infinity
Infinity, infinity, yeah
InfinityA tear fell at the lyrics 'Lie awake only hoping they're OK'. I used to have a Guinea Pig when I was young, because my parents wanted me to have something to keep me busy in my room. She passed from cancer when she was only 3. I've lied awake so many times, just hoping she would get better, and would eventually beat it. But, she eventually died in my arms two months after she was diagnosed. It still kills me. I still think I could've saved her. I know I could've saved her.
That song ended, and another came on. Ha, can you guess what song? End of the Day, by One Direction. I think you can guess how much of a fan I was. And still am.
All I know at the end of the day is you want what you want and you say what you say
And you'll follow your heart even though it'll break
Sometimes
All I know at the end of the day is love who you love
There ain't no other way
If there's something I've learnt from a million mistakes
You're the one that I want at the end of the dayI moved my head to the beat slightly, and smiled.
~~~~Brendon's Point Of View~~~~
After I got off the phone with Fueled By Ramen, I practically skipped to my bedroom to tell Amelia the news. When I went into our bedroom, I laughed. She was laying in bed with headphones in her ears, and her phone on the bedside table. I could actually hear the music she was listening to. She bobbed her head to the music lightly.
I tiptoed to her bedside table, and unlocked her phone, searching for a specific song to make her listen to. And that song, was obviously This is Gospel. I clicked on it, and watched her reaction.
Her smile grew bigger, and she started to lip sync to the words. She opened her eyes, and smiled bigger, showing her teeth. She grabbed her phone, and unplugged the headphones, the music blasting into the air. We both started singing and dancing, and i'm not going to lie, she has a really good voice.
When the song was over, she turned the music off, and turned to me.
"I have some big news!" I exclaimed.
"What is it?"
"We're going on tour in three weeks!"
"Really?! Oh my god, that's awesome!" She ran up to me, and jumped into my arms, hugging me. She wrapped her legs around my waist, and her arms around my neck.
I tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, and her lips made gentle contact with mine.
(A/N) Sorry for the shitty short ass filler chapter
