"Good morning, beautiful," Brendon smiled when he saw me walk into the living room.
"Good morning, handsome," I yawned, sitting next to him on the couch.
He turned to face me, and my face dropped. Part of his face was bruised beyond belief, and he sadly smiled.
"I know, I know. But it's not that bad. It could be a lot worse"
"I guess. How's your hand though?"
"Hurts like hell, but it's better than yesterday," he smiled.
"That's good," I smiled as well.
Brendon's phone started ringing, and he picked it up, looking at the caller ID. His face dropped, and he stood up.
"I gotta take this," He smiled softly, yet a hint of nervousness crossed his features.
"Is it something bad?" I asked, but he was already outside of the glass doors.
I sighed to myself, and decided to get ready for the day. It could get my mind off of everything I suppose.

I finally finished perfecting my winged eyeliner when Brendon peeked his head into the bathroom.
"Hey, is it okay if you could do the grocery shopping today? Management wants me to do some stuff for them"
He looked almost scared. His face was lighter than usual, and his eyes were wide.
"Yeah, of course. Is there something wrong?"
"No, no, not at all. Just some business critiques they want me to listen to," He lightly chuckled, and I nodded, still not fully convinced that was the reason why.
"Are you sure? You seem a little off. You know you can tell me anything, right?"
"Yeah. Yeah, I know. Everything's fine, I'm just overly stressed, that's all," He smiled, softly kissing my forehead.
"Okay. Did you make coffee already?"
"Are you kidding? Did I make coffee already?" He giggled, "Babe, I can't survive without it, yes, I made coffee"
"I thought you would've been too busy," I laughed.
He scoffed, "I'm never too busy to make what I thrive on"
"Alright, alright, well, can you pour me some?" I smiled.
"Of course," He lightly grabbed my face, kissed me, and walked out of the room.
I walked into my room and grabbed my purse, gently sliding it onto my shoulders. When I made my way to the door, I slipped on some shoes, and turned around to see Brendon holding my coffee.
"Thanks, babe," I smiled, grabbing the hot drink. I gave him a quick kiss, and pulled away.
"Of course," he smiled back, yet it didn't seem like it was real.
He seemed a lot off. Almost like something was bothering him a lot. More than management. He would never be like this because of the band, or music, so what was wrong?
"What's wrong? I can tell there's something off"
"Hmm? Nothing is wrong, just a little nervous to see what management wants me to do, that's all," he smiled again, but it wasn't real.
"Okay..." I said, still not completely convinced.
"Well, you'd better get going before traffic gets really bad. I'll be here when you get back," his voice cracked near the end, and his eyes glossed over.
