Omgg thank you guys for 10k reads! I love you guys so much <3 Also, I'm trying to get these chapters out as fast as I can (believe it or not) so I'm really sorry that I haven't been updating as fast as you'd expect. "Ready?" Brendon asked, and looked at me with a huge grin, about to turn the key that was inside the lock.
I smiled in anticipation, "Yes!"
The lock clicked, followed by the door flying open and hitting the wall behind because of how aggressive Brendon pushed it. He turned on the living room lights, everything illuminating around us. My eyes squinted to get used to the bright lights.
"WE'RE HOME GHOSTS WOOOOO," He screamed, dropped his luggage on the ground, and started running around the house, turning on every light that he passed by.
I laughed, picked up his bag, and started carrying it to our bedroom. Brendon saw me struggling, and immediately stopped his ritual to grab his bag from my hands. He threw it on our bed, me doing the same.
"I missed this so much," I happily sighed.
He dramatically threw himself on the bed, "I missed this too"
I joined him, and poked his nose when he wasn't paying attention.
"I have been booped!" He gasped.
"You have," I laughed.
"Your turn," He smirked, causing me to quickly get up and run out of the room.
"Nooooo," I screeched while running into the kitchen.
"Hehe yessssss"
He emerged from the kitchen doorway, trying to run around to get me. We ran around the table a few times before we got stuck on opposite sides, me on the side closest to the door.
"You're not getting out of this alive!"
"Mhmm, watch me," I swiftly ran out of the room, opening the backyard door and fastly closing it in Brendon's face, holding the handle firmly.
"Goddamn you're fast," His voice was slightly muffled from the glass, but his laugh was clearly audible.
"This isn't fairrrr," He pouted, pressing his face to the glass, and dramatically sliding down to the floor.
"Looks like I win, huh?"
"But, I want to win thoughhhh"
"You loseeee," I giggle, causing Brendon to stand up and open the door with ease.
"Wow I'm we-" Before I could finish my sentence, Brendon picked me up, throwing me over his shoulder. He closed the door with his foot, and continued to drag me to the bedroom.
He gently threw me on the bed, and before I could do anything, he booped my nose.
"Noooooo I've been booped!" I dramatically exclaimed.
"Looks like I win, ha!"
While he was doing his little victory dance, I lightly threw my hands around his neck, pulling him into an embrace.
"Hmm, no. I think I win," I smirked.
"But I win," He pulled away slightly so our faces were inches apart.
I lightly brushed my nose against his, then gently nudged his nose.
He smiled brightly, closing the gap between us. I gently grabbed his face, and pulled him that much closer.
