*Amelia's Point Of View*
Brendon decided to go into the ambulance with Dallon. By 'decided' I mean forced me out when I jumped in and practically threw himself in it.
"Milly, I owe him this much. I've been such an asshole to him, and I need to show him I care about him," his eyes glazed over with tears, but he turned away before they could overflow.
I nodded, turned away, and started speed walking away. The ambulance doors slammed shut immediately, speeding off in the direction of the hospital. My body couldn't handle this much emotion, and I started to sob. Quickly, I grabbed my phone, and called an Uber, hoping that they would hurry up.
"Amelia! Hey!"
I hesitantly turned around, and was met with Zack with open arms. I walked toward him slowly, embracing him, and sobbing into his shoulder. What if that was the last time I saw Dallon alive? What if they can't save him? What could I have done to stop it?
"I-it's all my f-fault," I cried.
"No. Do not go blaming this on yourself, you know it's not. You can't beat yourself up over this, there was nothing you could've done"
"But there was! If I went into his room sooner I could've prevented this! He would still be here!"
"But you didn't, and that's okay! This is not your fault, and you know it. He'll be fine"
"You don't know that," I pulled away, wiping my eyes with my hands.
"You're right. But I know that Dallon is a fighter, and will get through th-"
"He took those pills on purpose, you know that right? He completely gave up, Zack. Maybe he was fighting before, but he's done. His body is so weak it's just going to give up on him," I opened my phone, and saw that the Uber was only 2 minutes away.
Zack didn't respond. Instead, he just looked down at the ground, seemingly fighting tears.
"I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't be talking like that..." I trailed.
Just then, a dark blue Subaru pulled up, and the passenger window rolled down.
"Hey, are you Amelia?" The woman in the car questioned.
"Yeah," I nodded, and opened the door, moving to the far left as Zack was getting in.
Once the door closed, the blonde haired woman spoke again, "so, where do you guys need to go?"
"The nearest hospital, please," Zack said quickly, earning a frown from the driver.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, what happened, if you don't mind me asking?" She asked politely as she pulled out, and started driving.
"It's just one of our friends. He tried to kil-"
"He tried some kind of skateboard trick, and fell on his ankle the wrong way," I interrupted him, not wanting Zack to tell the lady what actually happened.
Zack gave me a nod, and continued, "yeah... right"
The woman nodded sadly, and stayed silent. It was an awkward 10 minute drive until we made it to the hospital. The lady parked outside of the entrance, Zack and I immediately jumping out.
"I hope your friend is alright," she told us.
"Yeah, me too. Thanks for the ride," I told her, swiftly closing the door.
Zack and I ran to the front desk, "I-Is Dallon Weekes here?" I asked, already out of breath.
"I can check, but who are you guys?" The brunette haired woman questioned with a slight hint of attitude.
"We're his friends, ma'am. Now please, we need to see if he's okay," Zack answered.
"I've heard that he's a pretty popular guy. How do I know you both are actually his friends, and not obsessive fans?" She responded snottily.
"Oh my fucking god, I'll just call Brendon then," I walked away while pulling out my phone, clicking on Brendon's contact, and tapping the 'call' button.
The phone kept ringing, and ringing, and ringing unt-
"Hello!-"
"Brendo-"
"You've reached my voicemail! I'll call you back when I'm not busy, so until then just have a fun time waiting for me to call back because I'll probably forget. Bye!"
I sighed, and sunk to the floor.
"Look, we're his friends! I'm his manager, and Amelia over there is his friend. We really need to know if he's okay, please," Zack tried.
"Wait, you're Amelia? As in the Amelia Pierce? Like, you're dating Brendon Urie, right?" The brunette asked, and turned her attention to me, who was silently crying while curled up on the floor.
"U-um, yeah.. that's me"
"Oh my god! Well why didn't you just say so! Dallon is in room 402. I don't have any information on if he's alright or not, but I've heard some horrible things though.." she trailed.
"We don't have time, we need to go!" I jumped up, and ran to the nearest elevator, Zack following me.
I pushed the white button, and one of the doors opened abruptly. Quickly, I hit the fourth floor, and the door closed.
"Please let him be okay. Please," I whispered to no one in particular.
"Hey, look. This is Dallon we're talking about, he's going to be okay"
"How the fuck do you know?! He took the whole bottle of those pills, Zack! I've 'experimented' with those same pills, which ended myself in his exact position. I know how this work-"
"You survived, didn't you? If you survived, then why can't he?!"
