Chapter 10

Elena

''HELLO!''

I instatly woke up when I heard the scream. My heart was beating so fast so I put my hand on my chest and looked at the crazy person who I was going to kill.

''Julia?!'' I exclaim when I saw my best friend besides my bed with a big smile on her face. ''You were going to give me a heart attack!''.

She laughed and drop off some bags. ''It's saturday!'' Said Julia with an excited voice.

''So?'' I said while leaving my other best friend; my bed.

''Ugh, so your parents will be gone for the weekend and we're going to pass it together! You forgot?''

With all the events of yersterday, I totally forgot that Julia is going to stay here for the weekend. At least I'm going to forget yesterday and just have some fun with my best friend.

''Oh! Yeah, I remember! Are my parents still at home?''

''Yes, when I entered, they told me to wake you up slowly and that's what I did... I mean, I think...'' She asked to herself.

''No, you didn't. My heart was going to stop because of you.'' I said while taking my outfit even tho I would like to stay in my confortable pajamas. But it's like this with my family, when we receive guests, we must be *présentables* event if it's my best friend.

''But you forgive me because I'm your bestie right?'' She asked while doing her 'cute' eyes and I rolled mine.

''I'm going to take my shower, I'll be here soon. You can...''

''I'm going to watch a serie because I know that you take 3 hours to take your shower.''

''I don't...'' I began to argue, but she cut me. ''Go take your shower!'' She said with a smile.

I put on a jeans with a T-shirt and let my wet hair dry without any heat. When I finnaly got out of my bathroom, my belly was screaming ''Famine!'' so I went to the kitchen to take my breakfast. When I finished it, my parents appeared with a suitcase.

''Oh good morning Elena, I thought you were still in the bathroom.'' Said my mohter while my father was going down the stairs with another suitcase.

''Good morning!'' He said ''Where's Julia?''

''She is in my room. So, you're going now?'' I asked feeling a little bit sad by the thought of not seeing my parents for the weekend.

It's only two days and it's going to be fun with Julia!

Rapidly, my sadness disapeared and I went to hug my parents.

''You have our number and oh by the way, Kate Williams told me that you don't need to go teach her little son this Sunday, she is giving you a little day off.'' Said my mom while putting her shoes.

I don't know why, but at that moment, I felt a little bit sad. Maybe it's because I'm going to miss my little student Nathan...I feel like I'm really going to be attached to him.

"Oh...Its nice." I simply said.

"Good bye Lena, and I repeat, you have our number if..."

I sighed "Yes mom, I know..."

"She is responsible Mary, she's now 18." Said my father to my overprotective mother."Bye Elena, we love you."

"I love you too, bye!" I said waving my hand to my parents that were now in the car. I closed the door with a little bit of sadness...

"Oh my gosh Elena, look at this Ariana Grande's live! Her voice was on fleek, litteraly." Exclaimed my best friend.

I only nodded while watching the live. Then, Julia paused the video and turned to see me.

"By the way, you didn't respond to my message yesterday. What is your op..."

"Wait. I didn't receive any message yesterday?" I asked. As far as I remember, she didn't send me any message.

But wait. Who took my phone when I wasn't here? Oh my... he took it; Hayden took my phone yesterday! I'm sure this little idiot rummage thorugh my phone.

"Oh God! Julia what did you send me yesterday?" I asked with anxiety and nervosity.

She looked at me with a weird face, probably thinking why am so nerveous about it and answered:

"Hum... It was an announce from a women. She actually gives singing lessons so I thought it was a good idea for you but why you.."

I got up rapidly from my bed and began to stress and to pace up and down. If Hayden saw this message, he probably thought; Oh, she sings? Then, he wanted to hear how I sing so he tried to find some recordings. Let me think...hum it's pretty easy to find the recordings on a cellphone so he found it and then, he did it! He listened to me sing!

"Or he simply said: Oh, I don't care." Said Julia.

When she saw my interrogation face she continued:

"Next time, don't talk out loud when you think, just a little advice." She said with a smile.

But I wasn't smiling. Now, Hayden knows that I sing! But why he didn't tell me that yesterday? He would have asked me if I sing. Maybe he did what Julia said. Maybe he didn't check anything. Rapidly, my heart went back to it normal beat and I went to sit besides my best friend, who was really confused right now.

"Can someone explain me tho, why Hayden would have take your phone?"

I guess I can't keep this as a secret now. So I told her everything about yesterday. Everything except our talk at the park. It was only a little talk and it won't start again. He is with Ally; just forget him Elena!
