"And then, I'll say this line." said Penelope pointing  a sentence with her finger on the paper of our science presentation.

I nodded. It's been an hour that we've been doing this.

"What if we take a little break?" I asked.

She put her glasses over her head and answered,

"Yeah, sure!"

I got up my bed and started to put our sheets on my desk. While I was doing this, Penelope was looking through my window.

''Oh, so you live near Ally's house?''

I turned rapidly to face her and immediatly said,

''No?''

''Well, she's walking with a cute guy on your street so I thought that...''

At that moment, I ran threw my window to look outside. Penelope was right, Ally was walking hand in hand with Hayden. I don't know why at that moment, I was getting a little bit mad... I closed the curtains and said,

''That 'cute guy' lives in my district, not Ally.''

Penelope nodded and answered with a laugh,

''You're lucky to have a cute boy near your house, I only have weirdos neighbors...''

I faked a laugh. No I wasn't lucky to see him every Friday and Sunday at his house. Sunday... That's  tomorrow. My heart began to beat suddently faster.

''Are you okay?'' she asked.

''Yeah, yeah'' I lied.

''So do we return to our project?''

''Okay...''

We took a long time to finish it and once all was done, Penelope asked randomly,

''Sorry if that seems a little bit weird, but do you have a boyfriend? Because the way you were looking at Ally and the...''

I don't know why, but I started to laugh. Maybe because she is the only one (with my sister, Kristen) that had asked me this or because I will be forever alone in my entire life.

''No.''

She seemed surprise.

''Oh really?! I mean don't take that so far, it's friendly, but you are really beautiful. Why aren't you in a relationship? Why are there not thousands of guys that are begging you to be in couple with them? A person like me can understand why, but like you...''

Her words went straight to my heart and I gave her a hug.

''Thank you, you're beautiful too.''

''I don't understand why all these boys want to date Ally, I mean you're more attractive and sweeter than she is!''

I smiled to her. I know right...

"I didn't have the opportunity to talk a lot with Ally..." I said.

She rolled her eyes.

"Good for you. Last year, I had to team up with her and let me tell you that it was the worst project I had ever done in my entire life!" she seemed so furious at that moment. "Anyway..." she added. "Can I borrow your phone to call my parents? I don't want to take the bus on Saturday...It's always full!"

I nodded and gave her my phone.

"I will search something to eat downstairs, I'll be here in a few minutes." I said.
