It's a Morning Thing

Riing. Riing. Riing.

Baaam!
My hand crushed the alarm as it sounded off.
I really hate hearing the sound of my alarm every morning. But I guess I should be thankful for it because it helps me from losing my job.

" Ugghh. The light burns! " I yelled in agony as I slowly opened my eyes. But what can I do? I wasn't really created as a morning type of person. Sometimes I even wonder why I became a teacher when I'm practically better off as a call center agent. Well, guess there's no helping it. It's a good thing that I have my fan girls to support me or I would've quit years ago.

" I should better get up or else I'll be late. " I mumbled as I tried to get my butt going.

No use.
My body didn't comply.

" Looks like there's no other way... " I said as I rolled my body out of my bed.

THUD!
That totally hurt.
I should probably get better morning habits or else my face is going to be ruined from all this falling.

Riing. Riing. Riing.
I twitched a bit as I heard the second alarm coming from my phone.

" Guess I better bathe. "

I slowly got up from the floor and entered the bathroom.
I quickly brushed my teeth and rinsed my self. As I exited the bathroom, I felt like a fresher person. Always happens to me whenever I'm done bathing. So now, I probably look like a different person from when I woke up. I am now on my prince mode.

Breakfast.
I heard my stomach suggest.

" Hmm. I guess I'll just have bread this morning. Wonder if there's coffee. " I mumbled as I walked towards my grocery bad from last night.

I quickly got the bread and placed it on top of the table.

Now, on to the real job ---- finding something I didn't see last night. I started to check every nook and cranny of the kitchen, in search of my coffee.

" No good. I can't find it. " I sighed as I sat in front of my bread. Just at that moment, I saw near my thermos a small, rectangular piece of carton. It was my coffee.

Hallelujah!

I quickly pounced on it in my eagerness to taste that bitter coffee that keeps me awake all day.

" Squished, the carton got squished. " I said as I held the coffee and slowly opened it just to see nothing inside.

" oh great, there's nothing inside. I guess I should prepare the hot water then. " I said as I put down the carton and reached for my kettle.

I stopped half way as my brain started to process an important bit of information.

Processing.

Nothing inside = Empty.
Empty = No Coffee.
No Coffee = No Hot water.

I slowly fell to my knees as I looked up reaching for an imaginary something with one hand.

" Noooooo! My coffee. Now, how am I suppose to maintain my beauty and energy all day? " I cried in despair still doing the idiotic slash dramatic pose. I sniffled a bit to add more to the dramatic effect thing.

Seriously, I wonder why I'm totally retarded sometimes. But I guess I'm still lucky enough that I don't do this in public.

" Guess there's no helping it. Better buy one along the way. " I said to console my self as I quickly got up.

I slowly approached my table and prepared my self to eat the seemingly unappetizing bread.

Two slices.
I was only able to eat two slices. I guess that's pretty much enough to get me going until lunch.

Time check : 5:45 AM

"Woohoo! I still have time to buy some coffee. " I cheered as I walked towards my door.

Keys: check.
Phone: check.
Teacher Stuff: check.
Money: check.

" Guess I'm all set. " I said as I locked the door behind me.
