what caused my social awkwardness

So if you haven't caught on yet, I'm not all that social in the real world.

*shivers*

Now, I'm not antisocial because it's hip and funny. There was a public thing I experienced that destroyed my self confidence.

So as said in that Audible advert, come closer, let me tell you a story.

OK so back when I was in primary school, our class and only our class had this 5-day trip to a place called Dalguise. Where there was little connection to the Internet and we had to do stuff like abseiling and a catwalk.

On the first day, we got appointed to our rooms, and there two for boys and two for the girls.

However one of the boys room's were significantly larger than the other. Literally ten of us were put in one room and four were put in another.

They were so fucking lucky.

Our room was insane. Almost everyone was on a mad sugar rush from eating a bunch of sugary stuff on the way to Dalguise.

After everyone ate the breakfast, we had to do something that in mg opinion, really sucked.

The catwalk.

For those reading this who don't know what a catwalk is, imma explain it right now for y'all!!

A narrow, often elevated walkway. As on the sides of a bridge or in the flies above a theater stage.

OK. I admit I just got up Urban Dictionary, because it's kinda weird to explain.

We got harnesses when it was our turn and we had to cross the lower bridge, climb using a tree with things to use. (We weren't all Sam from Until Dawn) But when it was my go, I froze when I was midway up the tree, not because I'm a gigantic wimp.

But because I looked down...

And under the bridge I crossed was a batch of water, clean water. But still water. That I could land in and embarrass myself in front of my group, friends and the guy who set up the catwalk.

I have no clue why, but my class just calling this dude Pewdiepie.  Even though they didn't look similar in the slightest.

Why?

Well, for starters. They have different skin colours. So you couldn't get them confused. And their voices were completely different.

But alas, I pushed on to get to the higher level bridge and what do ya know? I fell....
