On Tuesday, an Uber driver took a step too far to receive a five star rating and went to extreme measures via kidnapping a 24-year-old woman right in New York.

The unnamed victim was in a cab with Habir Parmar, the driver, back in February, when she accidentally dozed off. Understandable action, it was late at night and Uber cabs are infamous for their luxuries. When she awoke, Pamar's car was allegedly on the side of the road and his hand was under her shirt, the Journal News reported.

After the assault, Parmar abandoned the woman on the side of the interstate in Connecticut.

Don't relax just yet, Habir isn't the only scoundrel working for Uber. Earlier this month, 51-year-old Frederick Gaston informed multiple reporters that him raping a woman was a 'perk of the job'.

In September, a Florida woman jumped out of her Uber driver's window after she realized 30-year-old Destiny Green was not driving to her destination.

Jesus Christ, is anybody safe nowadays? Given we just got a new Uber as on the telly it's ironic really, albeit in sad way. Here's a tip that could potentially save your life; Do Not Trust Uber. 103 Uber drivers in the United States have been accused of sexual assault alone. I don't want to imagine the numbers for other criminal offences.
