I'm not a big fan of football, or any sport really. Blame my incessant PE teachers for that. However, I was willing to do a harmless bet and select a team participating in the World Cup and if they win, I would get £50. I picked Nigeria because I thought it would be hilarious if they won. Then Lionel Messi enlisted for Argentina and all hope was lost.
