(You know what's better than twenty-four?)

Snowflake opened up her eyes to a familiar scene. James beside her, in the rotten wood building. But this time was a little different; she felt sick to her stomach.

"James," Snowflake meowed, nudging him.

"SNAKES!" James shouted, shooting his head up from his paws. "Oh, sorry. Had a nightmare."

Snowflake stayed silent.

"We did it again, didn't we?" (Oops, I, did it again! I played with your hearrrrt~)

Snowflake nodded.

James sighed. "Let's go back home."

"Okay," Snowflake said, standing up. But when she stood up, her nausia intensified.

James must have noticed her screwed-up face. "Are you okay?"

"Just a little nausia," Snowflake replied.

James's face showed concern but he dipped his head and padded on. Snowflake followed him more slowly.

He looked over his shoulder. "Are you sure you're okay?"

Snowflake smiled. "I'm fine," she replied.

Once they arrived back home, Blizzard padded over.

"I thought you two weren't going to do that again!" Blizzard hissed.

Snowflake shrunk back. "I didn't mean to worry you. I'm sorry."

Something seemed to click in Blizzard's mind. "Oh, it's fine," she purred, then strolled away.

"Ooh, a second date!" Glow meowed. "Oop, sorry. I meant, second not-date."

Snowflake only rolled her eyes and smiled. But when she looked over to James, he seemed sad. "What's wrong?"

"Stars isn't here to welcome me back this time," James replied, staring at his paws.

Snowflake's gaze softened and she rubbed her cheek against James's. "It's okay," she purred. She felt their tails intertwine.

"Thank you, Snowflake," James whispered.

"Any time," Snowflake whispered back.
