The next day, Blizzard padded up to Snowflake with a mouse in her jaws.

She dropped it next to her. "Guess i'm the one hunting for you now," she joked.

Snowflake sniffed the mouse gratefully. "Thanks, Mom."

Blizzard licked her forehead. "Any time, sweetie."

"May cats of the clowder gather around for the growncat ceremony of Glow!"

Snowflake blinked; Glow's growncat ceremony was today! She almost forgot!

"About time," Blizzard muttered. "Why did he wait so long?"

"Not sure," Snowflake replied, padding over to the crowd. She'd eat the mouse later.

River rested his nose on Glow's forehead; Glow's ears flicked.

"With the power of the Ghostcats running through my veins, I call upon Autumn to approve of Glow becoming a growncat."

At that moment, an orange tabby queen with blue eyes appeared next to River. That must be Autumn. She gazed at her living son with love before whispering something into River's ear and vanishing. River lifted his head. "Glow? Do you promise to use your mastery of knowledge and mental strength to benefit your clowder?"

Glow nodded. "While I am here, yes."

Snowflake smiled. Glow would spend the rest of his days on this earth for his clowder.

"Then it is done," River meowed. "Glow, you are now a growncat."

The clowder cheered, Snowflake and the rest of the friend group cheering loudly. But she noticed something.

This time, Mud had joined the cheer.
