"Please stop!" Eleven year old Youngjae let out a small whimper as he was held against a wall by the front of his school uniform; his elbows slowly being wedged into the bricks behind him.
The younger was very use to the term bully and had familiarized himself with it. He was a magnet for all the bigger kids in the grade that got angry, when that happened they all took it out on him. The latter was weak; all he could do was cry and beg for them to stop. Youngjae was a bit on the smaller side and wore pastel color clothes; which most kids picked on him for.
"This wouldn't have been a problem if you didn't start anything in the first place gay boy," The bigger male made sure to emphasize the last two words and no, they weren't a lie.
Everything that came out of the bully's mouth was true and Youngjae knew it. He was gay and he couldn't deny that fact. His sexuality was something he always tried to hide, but his secret slipped out of his grasp and soon everyone knew.
The bully cocked his arm back, he was going to punch Youngjae, the younger was sure of it. He squeezed his eyes shut and prepared for the impact that was going to come him way. Youngjae was only seconds away from a bruised eye or bleeding nose.
"HEY LEAVE YOUNGJAE ALONE!" A voice was heard from the alley way entry.
The boys soon ran off, but not before maliciously whimpering how lucky Youngjae was and that one day the older wouldn't show up. Jaebum ran over and placed his hands on the younger male's shoulders. Then he inspected the latter's whole body for any major injuries, besides the small scratches on his legs and arms. Then his eyes met Youngjae's and he started to talk.
"No matter what I will protect you til' I die!" A young Jaebum promised Youngjae with a toothy grin.
"Really?" The latter asked Jaebum; his eyes widened in surprise and he could feel his cheeks grow a bit red.
Jaebum nodded his head to answer Youngjae question. The smile the two shared with each other never seemed to come to an end. Youngjae grabbed the older and pulled him into a bone crushing hug. The younger's small hands tightly gripped onto the back of the older's uniform. Tears pricked Youngjae's eyes and one small tear rolled down his chubby, little cheeks. Jaebum held him tightly and reassured him everything was going to be alright; he didnt like it when the younger cried.
"Do you pinky promise me?" Youngjae asked Jaebum when they pulled away from their hug. Not once did he hesitate to answer any of the younger's questions.
"Of course!" The older exclaimed with that same toothy grin that Youngjae had grown to love.
When their pinkies intertwined and thumbs pressed against each other it was as of they striked a deal. Jaebum promised that no harm would come to Youngjae because he would always be there to protect him.

Everyday that same memory would replay in Youngjae's head. He couldn't help but let tears slip past his closed eyes. School was a nightmare, and he was all alone with no one to comfort him in a time of need like this one. The younger felt so stupid for believing every word out of that male's deciteful mouth. Who knew someone could break such a big promise. Everyday was a living hell and it was all because of Jaebum.
Instead of always protecting Youngjae like he had pinky promised, Jaebum became the bully.
